Hi all, I am a CEC inland applicant. I applied for PR for me and my wife on August 28th, 2018 but still didn’t get any decision. Its been almost 8 months now. I called CIC and they informed my eligibility, medical, criminality has been passed. Background check still processing. They also informed my file is with Winnipeg IOC. I ordered for gcms notes a week back and yet to get it.

Any idea what else I can do to get a response? Is it usual for a delay this long?

You could go to your MP and ask them. Apparently it's one of their duties to help.

They do that, sometimes they take months to send PPR email after approval. Just weird.

yes "we are processing ..." it just changed from ip1 to ip2. I do not see many ppl stuck in Winnipeg. We're cursed.
