I had applied for a visitor visa from inside Canada on 25th August 2023, after getting my PGWP. The regular processing time is 13 days, as of today and has been pretty consistent over the last couple of months. Till date, I have no update on my application except for Eligibility being completed and Background verification starting on 12th October 2023. This update came 2 days after I submitted a webform asking for an update.
I have called twice, with the first call center agent telling me he had sent in a request to the office to expedite my application (9 November). The second one said they can't do much and I will just have to wait (17 November).
Should I submit another webform to inquire about the status? I want to travel back home during the Christmas holidays but the visa delay is causing a hindrance.
