Workpermit from inside canada as outside application

Hi everyone, I need some guidance regarding my situation. I recently received a passport request from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for my work permit application. I had applied for a work permit as an outside-Canada applicant while I was physically in Canada. My approval letter asks me to submit my passport within 30 days so they can finalize the application and issue the visa. I’m trying to understand the correct process for submitting my passport.can i submit here or i have to leave and submit from other country,can i go to usa as i have valid visitor visa for usa.

Did you list your Canadian address and the fact you were in Canada on your application?

Yes everything i said fact as i am here on restoration period and waiting for my visitor record.
