Hi everyone,

I applied for my Post Graduation Work Permit from inside Canada and later realized I made several unintentional mistakes in my application. I corrected them via IRCC webform before any decision, but I would appreciate advice or similar experiences.

Mistakes made:

  1. IMM5710E Background Information

For the question Have you previously applied to enter or remain in Canada, I mistakenly selected No instead of Yes.

I have previously applied for a Study Permit. I submitted a webform explaining and correcting this.
  2. Wrong work permit type selected

In Details of Intended Work in Canada, I selected Open Work Permit instead of Post Graduation Work Permit.

My intention was always PGWP, and all documents uploaded (graduation related) support PGWP. I clarified this via webform.
  3. Employment history date error

I entered my employment start date as August instead of July.

I relied on my first pay date instead of the actual start date. This was corrected in an updated form and explained.
  4. Wrong document uploaded initially

At the time of submission, I accidentally uploaded a Letter of Attestation instead of my official Letter of Completion due to a file naming error.

Before a decision, I submitted another webform and uploaded: Official Letter of Completion and letter of attestation.

I am worried if this would cause any issues to the decision of my file.
I am waiting for a response and would like to know: If anyone had similar mistakes and still got approved or If there is anything else I should do or just wait

Thanks.
