Hi All,

is there any link where i can find all the documents needed for applying parents visitor visa. Also , is there any good format for Visitor visa invitation letter for parents

You can just follow any letter format. In the document submission section, they list the information needed to be included in the letter such as dates, length of stay, reason for travel, etc.

Posting my Timeline for Parent's Visitor Visa Re-application. Applied from Canada.
(Old Application was applied from India via GC Key on Aug 10, 2021 & Biometric Sep23, 2021. No response on that till date)
New application was submitted without withdrawing the old GC key one.

March 25 - IRCC New Portal Submission (Biometric was updated Instantly, Taken from Old UCI quoted)
March 30 - BVL
March 31 - PPR

Some get automatically withdrawn per posts in other thread. My mom's wasn't. Application through GC Key in July 2021 still pending while the one via IRCC in Jan 2022 got approved.

Passport Sent: March 14, 2022
Passport Received: March 16, 2022
Visa Validity: 7 years (based on passport expiry)
Entry: Multiple
Visa Office: Philippines
Processing Time per CIC site: 45 days
Actual Processing Days: 34

Mom's Age: turning 70
Occupation: None
Funds: None shown (no bank account back home)
Travel History: None
Ties to home country: Property title, 2 children who are in their 40s, and grandchildren.
Intented Stay in the Letter of Invitation: 5 months

Does anyone know how much time New Delhi Visa office is taking now a days for visa stamping after passport submission?

Hello. We also applied on March 4th, biometrics were completed on March 10th and no update after that.
When we applied, the processing times were 40 days. Now, when we check the processing times for the visa we applied and from the country we applied, it shows 11 days. I tried to contact the IRCC on Sunday regarding the status of our application, but haven't received any reply from them. I guess we need to wait the 40 days processing time that it was showing at the time of our application and that 40 days should be fromthe biometrics are completed, as biometrics are not included in the visa processing times.
