Hello all,

My wife will apply to a master programme in UBC (okanagan). If she accepted, can i get work permit?

Can I Apply for study visa and bring my 3 year old child .

You could . But who is going to take care of your child when you’re at school?Daycare in Canada is expensive ,and more then likely involves getting on a waiting list
That’s something you want to consider , and definitely something the VO will consider when looking at your application

I am divorced with a 3 year old child
If I have relatives to take care of the child then is it okay.
What documents can I attach to make my case stronger

i applied for canada study permit in 29th January from Bangladesh through vfs and all documents were received at Singapore on 3rd February. But I haven't got any response from them yet. In addition, i didn't done the medical test before submitting the papers as they were to ask for it. But its been so long and if i track my application through vfs it still says "visa application received by canada visa office, Singapore on 2020/02/03 and its under process". Here's my question, is it a bad sign as its been 36day already and they still didn't asked for the medical examination? Or is it any other factor that causing the delay? Or anything else? Any related experience please share
Thanks

Hey
Can anyone tell me how many days prior to my orientation program I can enter in Canada. Visa approved on 2nd march for May intake. I heard there is some 21 days rule. Is there something like that?

There is no fixed rule as such but general advice is 3-4 weeks before classes start given you need to show can support self financially without working hence 3-4 weeks. If come any earlier just be prepared financially.

Hi, I have for study visa under non SDS category on feb 20th. Medicals was passed on Feb 21st. Got 2 ghost updates on 4th March and 6th March, but no mails. The processing time while I apply was 2 weeks and now it's updated as one week in cic site. It's passes 20 days now no update on my application.
