Hi,
I wrote earlier here that I was concerned why, having applied in Aug 2013, my application is still In Process and no Test Letter yet, while many other Vancouver applicants applied couple months after me and had their tests already. I guess I figured out now; I've been checking my status as I am the principal applicant (We submitted a family application). Yesterday I checked eCAS status for all three of us and was surprised to see that my son's file is In Process from Feb 2014 while me and wife have In Process status from Oct 2013. For some reason they started processing child's application four months after ours.

Another thing: If you have not done it already, I recommend you to download the cell phone app named CheckCIC (FREE). With this application you enter Unique Client ID, Name, DOB and Place of Birth etc info only once when you create a user and after that each time you want to check your eCAS status you just tap on your name and that's it, you don't have to enter all the information every time you wanna check your status. In addition to eCAS checks it also has a few more useful features.

Good Luck
Kubik

I passed my test on 15th May 2014 and called CIC today to enquire about Oath. Call center informed that my application for citizenship has been approved as of 3rd July, 2014.
Do any of you have any idea on this, as what does this mean? and normally how much time it takes to get oath letter after this?

My children' applications started processing 2 or 3 months after my wife's and mine. That seems to be the normal procedure.

Guys,
I've been checking my eCAS status using this app since the day I downloaded to my iPhone. It's giving me exactly the same status info as I see it on a computer using CIC web site (Except that using this app I don't need to enter all personal information over and over). I'm not selling this app (developer put it on Application Store as a FREE app anyway). It works for me. When you run the app first time, from the Home menu choose "Users", tap on the"+" sign to create a "User", enter name, identification type, number, date of birth etc and tap "Save". This is done only once. Later whenever you need to see your eCAS status tap "Check App Status" and then tap your user name. That's it. If it's not working for you then probably the personal data that you entered has some typing or format errors. By the way, I entered my Unique Client ID number in xxxx-xxxx format, i.e. with a hyphen.

Have you received your notice to appear for test yet? Goodluck..

Check Ecas regularly.. it is on its way.. :)

I think our Vancouver office sends out oath letter 2 months after the test.
