just kidding ;D

good luck to the examinees/interviewees &
hopefully fast processing to all ;)

Thanks and good luck to all the Vancouverites!

I'm getting anxious. Submitted app in August 2013, started processing in October 2013, test letter still not arrived. Many people applying months after I did seem to have got their tests or at least test dates. I wonder if it's because ours is a family application.
Good Luck Everyone,
Kubik

^Did you call CIC?

Kubick i submitted mine early july, processing in october and still waiting, also a family applications, call CIC and try to ask them about the status of your file at the local office....you may get lucky with a helpful call centre agent, if not try again! all the best to you

Good luck with that! Mine is due July 20 (with exactly 1096 days) and then the funny process of waiting starts all over...

Thanks for the replies basharar & pie_vancouver,
Yes I called CIC about 3 weeks ago and I was told that the background checks are done, all looks Ok and that there's nothing else to do for now but wait for the test date.
Regards,
Kubik

So basically the line below appears to be a consistent lie by CIC?:

We sent you a letter acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on January 6, 2014.

I haven't seen anyone who actually gets their AOR and Discover Canada book soon after the date specified in ECAS. They always seem to (coincidentally) arrive just after the date they start processing your application... Hmmmm.

Hello All:

My test today was scheduled at 10:01am.

I was an hour early. Lol. But you can't get up to the 2nd floor 10mins before the exam.

The exam was easy. The online test samples from Richmond Library is 500x harder. Lol.

I didn't know what my score was but I passed.

Everything went well with the interview until she asked me if I am married, have families here, and/or children. My answer was a no.

She verified all my documents, employment letters, CBSA report, passport stamps and all other originals (passport, PR card, COPR, etc).

I am just not sure if this is a procedure, at the end of the interview, the officer said, your file will be reviewed by the Citizenship Judge and if everything is ok, you will get a notice for oath taking in the next 2-3months.

Is my case non-routine? Why a citizenship judge needs to review it? I am scared though.

think its just routine that "judge" look over your file again but as long as you have passed, just relax and wait for oath!

Everybody will pass it.

There was a guy in the test room, who finished it in 2mins. Lol.

I spent time though, just to make sure. Not a single hard question there. But you have to review your answers still (correct numbering).

I can't disclose questions, but those who are taking the exams. I am 100%, you will get a perfect score. :)
