Hey guys, just wanted to provide an update on my citizenship application as well. My application should offer some relief to those who received the RQ. I got a pre-test RQ, but my application took around 15 months only!

Started Processing: Mar 29, 2013
Got RQ in Sep 2013; Sent reply in Oct 2013
Notice to Prepare for Citizenship Exam: Dec 2013
Notice to Appear for Citizenship Exam: Feb 2014
Citizenship Exam: Mar 12, 2014
Notice to Appear for Oath: Apr 22, 2014
Citizenship Oath: May 12, 2014

Hi 2013Surrey, you are so nice to tell us your timeline even you are about to finish the whole process. Can you confirm your notice to appear oath dated Mar 22 or Apr 22? Does the Ecas show up anything yet? Thanks.

did you apply in Surrey BC? I applied at the same time, no RQ ( yet anyway!!) and still have not been scheduled for my test...WHats up with that ??

I am from Richmond. Agent said my file was transferred to Vancouver Local office.

Recently moved from Calgary to Vancouver. Here is my time line

Received - June24/2013

In Progress - Sept16/2013

File at Calgary office - March 15th /2014

Last week Requested to transfer the file to Vancouver office .....as per call center agent it takes 6 weeks..
