As an addition to my previous response, I had a fourth line added after I landed saying where I landed and the date. Application status changed from Decision Made to Complete with that as well.ScaMD said:To anyone who has received DM on Ecas, do you still only have 3 lines showing there? Or does another add at some point?
I had the same issue, only a few boarding passes and some of them hardly legible. I just sent the email confirmations. However we've been together a long time and he lived with me for 1.5 years in Canada so I really don't think our relationship would have been scrutinized as much. I think the confirmations should be good enough. I actually sent an outline of all our trips back and forth and then referenced the supporting documentation for each trip so if you have some of both types that shouldn't be an issue either. Oh and I also just sent the first page in some cases using adobe software to cut out extra crap so it printed onto one page nicely. I figured they don't care how much it cost or meal options or the other stuff, just the confirmation and schedule should be sufficient.elenama said:Hi guys, for the proof of visits – did you provide the boarding passes or the emailed booking confirmation is sufficient?
I’m from Toronto and my husband is from Washington, so I have about 15 flights to his place over the past year and a half but I only saved about 2-3 boarding passes.. I’m just not sure about the booking confirmations because the ticket can always be refunded, right? How picky is CIC about that?
And if booking confirmation is enough, is it ok if I just leave the first page with the flight info and get rid of the fare info pages? I don’t want to pollute our application with useless junk, and that fare info is extra 3 pages per flight.
Just order a label online with UPS or Fedex. With UPS you can ship as a guest, not sure about Fedex (they might require an account). UPS is usually cheaper anyways. Address it in reverse. Print out the waybill and stick it to an envelope. That's it.maledil said:So we have been asked to re-send in the passport photos. When he originally sent them in my partner couldn't figure out the prepaid courier envelope and just sent a regular envelope with lots of stamps. Now that we have to resubmit I'd like to send a tracked env so we know its on its way to us and hopefully not take so long to get back.
I know lots have said they had issues and had to use a waybill with a credit card and others said they had no issue. Is there something specific I need to say to get them to cooperate?
Thanks
They aren't that picky for Americans. We just used email confirmations and hotel receipts.Does your passport usually get stamped? You can use that too if you want.elenama said:Hi guys, for the proof of visits – did you provide the boarding passes or the emailed booking confirmation is sufficient?

I only provided the e-mail confirmations for my train and bus tickets. Greyhound and Amtrak didn't provide me with boarding passes for those. Combined with the fact I provided receipts for my trips and social media posts from things I was doing in Canada at the time, I felt that was sufficient. Some of the trips also were on my husband's card and we had printouts of those showing that he paid for the tickets.elenama said:Hi guys, for the proof of visits – did you provide the boarding passes or the emailed booking confirmation is sufficient?

You'll be fine with just the main pages of the email confirmations. I just used the email confirmations, both when my husband applied for PR in US, and now when I applied for PR in Canada.elenama said:Hi guys, for the proof of visits – did you provide the boarding passes or the emailed booking confirmation is sufficient?

Could you just send another Annex A along with the pictures?maledil said:So we could not figure the fedex/UPS thing out so I had him send the new pictures to me. If I send them a canada post expresspost envelope to send back to me so I can send it down to him will that cause issues because its not going to the address on the annex a form?
It's already been sent unfortunately that would have been a good idea. I don't think they'll take a scan?JenTex said:Could you just send another Annex A along with the pictures?
I haven't gotten to this point in my app yet.....so do you put the address the COPR is to be sent to on the prepaid envelope? Or do you just fill out the Annex A and they put the address on the prepaid envelope when they send it? Either way, maybe you could upload a new Annex A via IRCC webform and tell them that the new pics are en route and that you have changed the return address. Just a guess.maledil said:It's already been sent unfortunately that would have been a good idea. I don't think they'll take a scan?
