I'm sure they would've had to have been in a real sour mood to actually deny you entry. Your PR card is your "right" to be in Canada and since you didn't have it yet, your CoPR is your "right", for land crossing. You're supposed to apply for a permanent record travel document, for any commercial crossing if you don't have your PR card yet/are renewing it/etc. Maybe since you hold an American passport, the border agents didn't even care or notice that you're actually a Canadian PR now.ryanntheredhead said:

Also it was the middle of the night and he probably would have had to jump through some serious hoops to turn me around. I'm guessing my US passport helps in the situation.
