Copies are ok as are black and white. If originals of anything are required it will be stated on the checklist. Things like the Option C printout and the employer letter must be originals.

I can't wait to apply now, it's so close. November is just next month now XD.

Just thought I'd let everyone know that we have received our CoPR today (99 days after our US Spousal application was received, and 9 days after ecas changed to "decision made"). This is surreal. I hope everyone else has similar experiences and many CoPRs are headed your way.

Congrats to all....I have to start thinking the hubby will not be approved and we have wasted thousands of dollars and we waste more appealing...I do get a trip to LA, pissed we had to cancel St Croix but we will continue to jump through hoops...Enjoy Canada and take complete advantage of the beauty in nature and the people....

You must use a physician that is approved by CIC - they are called panel physicians. You can find one at this link.

It's a basic physical, with blood and urine tests and a chest x-ray. The physican sends everything electronically to CIC and they will give you a form after the exam that you need to include in your application packet.

Update....So after 2.5 months CIC finally responded to the CIC doctor...apparently CIC is not able to open the second X-ray attachment, they couldn't open the first one either, that is why they sent the third request...it took 2.5 months to respond to 6 emails, 4 from the Doctors office and two from the CIC help desk and 2 phone calls to the CIC dr's help line...the crazy thing about the entire thing is they have the written report from the Doctor but not the actually X-ray...and there is still nothing in the medical file...Thank goodness we have all of this in writing..

I have copies of my application for PR when I applied back in 2008. But I've yet to have a need to access it yet. I certainly didn't need it when I applied for citizenship.

I'm planning on keeping a digital copy. Disk space is cheap. I figure it might make an interesting artifact for some future descendant who may wonder how great-great-grandma ended up in Canada. Heck, even my wife and I looking back at the early days of our relationship and having it documented in a consolidated manner for our application is something not many couples have.

Hi all - I'm new here and to this process. I'm a Canadian living w my husband in the US. We finally received FBI fingerprints so I'm trying to gather the rest of the info for the application. This forum has been so helpful!

I accessed the spreadsheet but I do not see anyone list the New York office as their VO. Anyone send their application through them? According to CIC processing time is 39 months is this for the total process or just for the landing piece?
