Urgent: PR card

I had to come I had no choice. I was hoping I would get my card this week and friends could mail it to me but unfortunately it didn't. my flight back to Canada is on Thursday. I'm coming from Iran. no idea what to do?

Try contacting with Canadian Embassy in Ankara and ask about getting a Travel Document for your return.

It was clear to me that they would not let you in. If you have US visa, you can travel to US and drive to Canada with CoPR. No idea about Travel Document procedure, but I vaguely recall someone told me that it can take 1 week or few months depending on VO. I would call and ask:

I applied for PRTD to Singapore VAC. My application arrived there on 23rd March. They released my passport on 24th March. So, basically they have nothing to verify, they have all your info in the database. It took 9 days in total for me, rest 8 days for delivery. Hope it will be quick for you. Best of luck.

Please fill up the form and review the checklist. Passport is mandatory. PRTD looks like nothing but a single entry visa for permanent resident. You must have to send your passport. Thanks.

VFS is the only option for me to send an application to VAC Singapore. VFS does not provide a home delivery I'm my country. It's always pick up in person. In my earlier post I mentioned that for delivery it took 8 days means the delivery time from my country to Singapore and the return from Singapore. Not sure about Iran.

I am in Iran and I have to apply for travel document through Ankara but I heard it takes about 3-5 weeks even if I drop it off and pick it up, but I dont have that much time. I heard in some countries it's one day? I was wondering if it's possible to go somewhere else and do it in person or send my application to someone in another country in Europe and have them do it?

Yes, that's correct. They received my passport on 23 Rd March and released it on 24 th March. I got it back on 29th March.

I might receive my PR card in 2 weeks since I resubmitted the new photos 2 weeks ago and if I apply for travel document it takes 4 weeks so I won't have my passport when my card arrives. Can't decide what to do?

If there is someone to receive ur card at ur place then ask them to xpress post it to you.

Yeah I have a friend that keeps checking my mailbox. the problem is I don't know if I should wait for my pr card or I should apply for travel document? cuz I need to send my passport with travel document application and I won't be able to leave even if I receive my pr card. really confused!!!
