understanding GCMS notes

Can anyone who has ordered their notes help with these queries:

Hi Guys,

I have a basic question.
I am ordering my GCMS notes (I am not in Canada, a relative is ordering them for me)

1. I do not know my UCI Number and its not a mandatory field, so can I leave it blank?

2. My file number is the number that starts with E on the top right corner of my AOR right?

3. In the Location field, can I leave it blank since it asks for at least the file number or location to be filled in, I am not sure if my file is transferred to another office (I am from India)

4. Does the person ordering it on my behalf need to upload proof of residency (eg. passport copy)

5. Can I use my email address for ease of correspondence instead of the person who is ordering on my behalf?

Hi Folks
my security and criminality started in the month of november2016.My spouse(non accompanying )has military background .So considering that fact ,can anybody tell me how much time would be taken to clear the background check stage?
what is the maximum taken so far?

I don't believe so. HOWEVER...


It is likely that when the notes are ordered this is noted in your file manually. Now, if it is anything like my job where there are a lot of things submitted with months of usual wait time you aren't made aware of huge delays until the applicant mentions something. It is POSSIBLE that this manual entry may cause one VO to notice no change after several months and MAY have a policy in place to highlight it.

This is all speculation based on my very unrelated job, but you never know...

On my GCMS notes generated on 01/20/2017, I can read :

01/05/2017 :

** AGENT R10 REVIEW *** POLICE CERTIFICATES R10 OK All police certificates on application; following PC'S NRT FRANCE. Criminality Decision Passed. EDUCATION DOCUMENTS ECA report verified on issuing agency website; foreign credential confirmed on ECA site. ECA Canadien Equivalency Summary reported by issuing agency as MASTER'S DEGREE. Credential is consistent with level of education claimed by PA under EE Eligibility. NO SPOUSE AGE Applicant's age reviewed and no change from ITA to e-APR.

Once the R10 is OK, can they go back and ask for additional document or reject my application ? Because few days later, I realized that I forget to ask, therefore to upload, my FBI PCC. I raised a CSE on 01/14/2017 telling them that I forgot to ask and join my FBI PCC (LOE + proof that I sent my FBI PCC request the same day).

Since, they never asked me any doc and my background went from NN to IP (01/24/2017).

I have an other question about A11.2, this is what I can read on 01/18/2017 :

"Case analyst: Lock-in Date: 2016-12-14_E000XXXXXX PA: XXXX XXXX - EE FSW Having analyzed this application based on the documents submitted by the applicant and the information contained in the file, I make the following recommandation.

ANALYST RECOMMENDATION: Recommend Pass A11.2: Appears Met R75: FSW MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - Appears Met R76: SELECTION CRITERIA - FSW POINTS/Funds; Appears Met FSW point total: 72 Ready to Finalize RPRF: Completed / Request for RPRF sent in error - RPRF was already provided by PA.

Why is it written : "Appears Met" instead of "Met" ? Does it mean that they will have to take a look at the A11.2 step once again before approving the A11.2 ? Right now, by reading the notes about the A11.2, am I right to say that it is not "OK" yet ?

I am sure they have seen ur FBI PCC CSE. No cause for alarm. they can request for any additional docs at any time. "Appears to meet" means that the initial review done by the officer is satisfactory before forwarding to your LVO for further review. most times they wud not review it again. u gud to go.

Dear RabinJi, every time an applicant makes a query on any information through CSE/e-mail/GCMS, a note is created by a VO in GCMS system where VO writes which query the applicant made and their reply.

"Status inquiry received. Standard security/background check pending template response sent."

In your case, the above RED line is your query they received & the Green line is there reply that they have sent you "background check pending template". ;D

In your case, the above RED line is your query they received & the Green line is there reply that they have sent you "background check pending template". ;D
