Hello everyone,
I am a PhD student in Canada, recently I got my study permit extended to 2014. Now I would like to apply for the extension to my TRV. In the mean while, I wanna re-apply for the visitor visa for my wife(we married one year ago, we did try visitor visa before, but unfortunately got rejected twice). My question here is that, Is that possible to get a visa for my wife even she is not in Canada now if I add my wife's name into the application for extending my TRV? Is there anybody encountering this kind of problem before? Hoping for your suggestions! Thanks.

Hi,

No.

Your spouse must complete and sign her own ‘Application for TRV Made Outside of Canada’ [IMM5257], and apply outside of Canada.
