TRV extension

Hi my wife got TRV last year which is expiring in Sep 2025, she was out of Canada for few months and re-entered in July 2025 (TRV remaining time was almost 2 months) upon entry in Canada the immigration officer told her that he is extending her visit visa for 6 months. My question is how and what sort of proof document I can seek for this for records and documentation purposes ?

There is no such thing as TRV renewal. If she entered as a visitor and is a visitor then she extends her stay in Canada by applying for a visitor record. She cannot apply for a TRV from within Canada as a visitor.

Think she is confusing that her visit length is up to 6 months which has nothing to do with her TRV.
