I just finished my PhD from an Ontario university and I'm planning to apply for PGWP and an EOI in OINP phd stream. My study permit is expiring on Juy 31, 2025 and TRV is expiring Mid September. Meanwhile, I need to urgently travel home in early September but want to come back in October for my convocation. Since my study permit is valid until the end of July, can I apply for a new TRV with in Canada while study permit is valid citing my convocation in October as a reason? I still haven't applied for my PGWP.
