Got a status update on GCKey today that my application has been approved and PR card has been mailed out. They also mentioned it can take upto six weeks for the card(s) to be delivered. Should I expect to receive it within a week?

Normal delivery time is 4 days within Canada, so there's a good chance you get it earlier....

Experts, received my CoPR and planning to do a landing. Do we need to submit photos upon landing for PR card? If yes, what are the specifications? Thanks!!

They will use the photo submitted for your COPR. They may reject this photo later (should be okay if you followed all the requirements), but in that case they will notify you by email/online account. You don't need any photos when you land.

Ah, they returned a photo submitted with passport as it is. Is that the one they will demand?

You don't need to give another one. I think in my case they kept one and stuck one on the COPR. They will keep the COPR with the photo - maybe they scan it. In any case, you don't need to give them any photos now.

Hi, do you know why would they reject the photos if they were already stamped on the COPR?

Hi,

That's interesting, I have a very similar timeline to yours. I did landing on Oct 04th, I still havent received my PR cards although they supposedly have been approved and mailed on Oct 18th. I also got an email reminding me about pre arrival services the other which I thought was strange.

I have called them 4 times already and they have confirmed the address, neither myself or partner have received PR Cards. I hope you get your PR Card soon.
hi , what number did you call ..? I have my number from US and no matter which number i call it gets disconnected.

Landed on 25th October, and got a profile update last friday (15th November). My account status still shows as submitted today, and I haven't got any photo request email either. I checked with CIC and my address info is alright. How long it takes for the status to change to approved? And how much time it takes generally after receiving a ghost update? I got it last friday! Thank you!

Hi, I got an update today says that the PR card is being mailed to me. Will it take that 6 weeks for the card to arrive?

I am at Toronto so if any Toronian can share their experiences would be much appreciated.

Thanks
