Hi All

Does anyone know how to inform CIC(my parents file is with Ottawa) of a change in my Dad's passport?

He got a new passport so now the one with CIC is the old one. Please confirm

My mom renewed her passport few weeks before she got Medical/PCC request from Singapore-VO. So, I sent copies of both old and new passport (only bio pages+any page with Canadian visa) along with the requested docs back to SVO. I also included an explanation letter on top to clarify the passport and few other things.

But I don't think you really have to notify CIC about passport renewal as it's a normal process. If you feel uncomfortable doing nothing, you can just mail copies of passport(s) like me.

Hi, thank you, the medical was received on the 1 september, the police certificate was sent on 23 august, and my background check is still "in progress", that's more than 60 days... when i see the statistics it takes about 1000 days from receiving the app to PPr, mine is more than 1030 days now ...

I am sponsoring my parents and they have no dependent. I have selected my father as the principle applicant. In this situation should I fill-up the from IMM0008ENU_2D for my mother(she is only dependent of my father)? I have considered this from only for my parents if they have any dependent and it is not for my kids and wife.

Sponsor Approval Received on 13June16.
Application changed to in process then went back to application received. Nothing after that.
VO is Ottawa.

Photographer has stamped its company name at the back of picture and dated it however I was wondering if the person also put their name at the back of picture?

My Application received Jan 4, 2016 9:43 Purolator. First letter received from CIC by mid May, second letter received in June. My application sent it to Ottawa and process begins as per thier information but I haven't received any information after that. Is this something normal to everyone or should I contact to CIC?
Also, my Wife's passport renewed (co-signer), should I inform CIC about the new passport and provide the updated one?

We are from Purolator 9:43 a.m. batch too and received SA in August and app was transferred to Ottawa. We haven't heard from them since then. I guess there's nothing much to worry.

I am on the same situation ,i got noticed in back pages that 6-7 persons are in the same situation,pl update when you find any thing.

I got my sponsorship approval on 22nd June 2016 and after two months my ecas in permanent resident application shows “In Process” on 26th of Aug.2016 but on 1st sept.2016 again turned to “Application Received” and still “application received”.

Can any one faced like this and if yes when will again gone to “in process” ,
when his/her file processed OR someone have an idea regarding this.

No correspondence after 22nd june from IRCC , four months has gone so worried.


Any other member having same situation please discuss in the forum as I am worried being after SA on 22nd June no progress in the file.
