Hello Members,

Does anyone have any experience on contacting the London Visa Office or any Local Visa office using the Webform?
Any idea how long do they take to respond back with your inquiry?

Thank you

one more question have you updated your file after SA like increase in family or change in address etc. i may be having one gimmic that my stay as visitor was expiring in last week of October 2016 so they have kept my file application received . Now i have got my stay as visitor extended, let us see what happened.

I honestly don't know the answer. There are 3 things that need to be considered:
1) You guys are not living in Canada currently - I assume. Besides being PR/Citizen of Canada, you also need to live in Canada as the Guide 5772 says.
2) Your husband cannot provide NOA while you can as a co-signer. It may work, but I'm not sure.
3) You can apply for parents and grandparents in 2 separate application packages (verify it with other sources/people) as long as you meet MNI for all these people + your family.

Guide 5772 says re: Sponsorship Eligibility,

In order to sponsor, you must…

- be 18 years of age or older;
- be a Canadian citizen, Registered Indian or permanent resident;
- be sponsoring a member of the family Class;
- live in Canada;
- sign an undertaking promising to provide for the basic requirements of the person being sponsored;
- sign an agreement with the person you are sponsoring that confirms that each of you understands your mutual obligations and responsibilities;
- prove that you have sufficient income to provide the basic requirements for your family members in Canada as well as the persons included in your sponsorship undertaking. You may also have a co-signer.

Someone in similar situation will be able to shed more light on it.
Sorry, just one more clarification regarding the living in Canada part. This means at the time of application the sponsor must be living in Canada I assume...and so for example, if we move to Canada early in 2017, we can apply in 2018 if we have three years of NOA (due to being deemed resident for tax purposes)?

I'm pretty sure there is no way for us to get supervisa for his parents.... :(

Hi guys ,my app was received on Jan 4 , 2016 , and I was just checking my ecas and it shows "decision made " on the sponsorship app , so I called cic cc , and they told me a letter with the decision was send yesterday by snail mail , is it normal that they are sending regular mail for this ?? Do you think it means good decision made or a bad one if it is coming by regular mail ?
I have the same. Did you received any letter yet?

This is getting too technical for me.

I guess that CIC assumes the sponsor, being a PR/Citizen, has NOA for last 3 taxation years by working/living in Canada.

In your case, you don't work inside Canada and hence live outside; but manage to have NOA for last 3 years. Does your NOA mention that you work outside? (I'm not an expert in taxation)

Now, I don't know how CPC-M is going to verify if you live in Canada (from NOA or forms or other Govt. sources). If they don't, then you're fine. I've even heard people sent PGP applications from overseas. You coming to Canada on eve of 2017 PGP grand-opening may not justify much in case CPC-M really digs deep in finding if you have been living in Canada for years.

The medical results for my parents were uploaded on October, 26. The LVO is CPC-Ottawa. Do we know how long usually take for them to update on my CIC for medical results?

i see many of them saying that past 3 months or more after submitting PCC, Medicals, RPRF, no updates.
Is it that they just want to collect the RPRF money and no updates until the backlogs of previous years are done?
I LIKE THAT IDEA :)

Not yet , I will check my mailbox later today , I'm in Edmonton so it might take until tomorrow or Monday for that letter to arrive, I just don't understand why didn't they just send an email like they did with the AOR

Did you meet all the requirements for sponsorship?

I am scared as I did not meet 2012 income but I met 2013,2014 and 2015.

Also, do they usually send a letter after confirmation sponsorship eligibility? Is it always a mail?

Did CIC ask for 2015 NOA/OptionC from you later?

Meeting MNI for 2012, 2013 & 2014 is a MUST for 2016 applicants.

Unfortunately, not everyone gets the "sponsorship eligibility & file transfer" letter from CPC-M. But it can come in either reg. mail or email.

CIC has not asked anything, though online it says Decision made for sponsorship and Application received for PA.

My incomes for 2013,2014 and 2015 was 6 figures and I provided them proof. However for 2012 it was less by a grand. I hope I got approved. :-X
