Not yet, my son is only 2 and half years old but if i'm in your situation, I won't enroll them this school year. I'm sure you'll have your PPR this month then visa by May.

... Naks naman, may pwede ka nang pag-iwanan ng 2 yr old mo while doing the necessary paperworks (government ids, social security registrations, PR card applications, etc.) when you land.. Nakabasyon pa si Daddy sa Manitoba... Plus, it shall be spring or summer when you all arrive... Great !
Is it easy to acquire his tourist visa (just asking) ? ...

Hi missmhie,

Just to share, at St. Luke's Extension Clinic at Bocobo, Ermita, Manila, med results were already relayed to us w/in the day, at the end of the last tests (at the conclusion of all the required tests). I guess this is because we were able to finish (all 4 of us) all the tests required in 1 day. We went there as early as 7:00 am. Registration took about an hour and a half (4 persons)... However, if we were required further test, then at the end of that test, we shall be given the turn out of our medical tests.
... Transmittal to CEM (local VO) took about 3 to 5 days (March 18 Test date while transmittal dates were March 21 & 22 for my spouse and 2 dependents while March 23 for mine)... These were the info I got when I followed up from St. Luke's ... medical results received in the ECAS was March 28 ...

Renew it na as CEM requires the passport to have at least 12 months validity for PR visa stamping. It can take as far as 2 months to get a DFA appointment in Metro Manila.

Hi does anyone here who got the same experience as mine? Nag ka problem po kasi kame sa COPR ng baby ko at husband ko. Nagkapalit ang picture nila and wala po nakalagay sa place of birth ng baby ko. Nag email na ko sa embassy but up to now wala cla reply more than 1 week na. Ilang days po kaya bago mabalik ang corrected COPR namen? Pina send back ko nalang sa vfs just to make sure na hindi kame magahol since may scheduled flight na kame sa May. Thank you in advance.

Itong ganitong issue sa landing documents is enough reason to get an appointment sa CEM and present the error. Pwede ka ba magsadya sa CEM?

Oo nga eh, ung sister ko na sponsor namin nag aayos ng application hehe. Yup, para may taga alaga din sana. Based sa previous apply nya, mga 2-3 weeks yata may visa na.

Nice, same destination pala tayo. Kita kits na lang dun. ;D

Very strict ang security sa CEM, I don't think they will accept an appointment for that, tama ang ginawa niya email + VFS.

This is on behalf of my sister's application, ifever she would get the visa, posible po ba na instead of flying directly to canada from philippines, daan muna sya dito sa europe for a short visit. Philippines-italy-canada. Is there any instruction that they should fly directly to Canada from Philippines?

None. I still suggest for her to attend PDOS though before flying to Italy.
