Question po. Paano nag a advise si CEM na passport request na? Is through mail or email? I received an email from them about PDOS but wala pa akong passport request na nakukuha.

Unless hindi ka naglagay ng email address as primary means of contact, then in that case, all communications is via regular post mail.

Pwede, basta ikaw ang PA.

Kaso madalas ang validity ng CoPR at immigrant visa na ibibigay sa inyo (if included ang family mo sa application) hindi mas mahaba ng 1 yr. Usually less, mahaba na ang 8 months na pagitan from receipt of the visa and CoPR until expiry nya. Kaya alanganin na sumunod ang family mo after a year - by that time, malamang expired na ang visa and CoPR.

QUESTION: My file was transferred to ABU DHABI VISA OFFICE. I already resigned at my work in DUBAI this month and planning to go home to MANILA. What's the processing for request for transfer of my file to Manila Visa Office?

TIMELINE:
November 2011 - Submitted all Documents to SINP
May 2014 - Received Nomination Letter from SINP
August 2014 - Sent file to CIO Nova Scotia
October 2014 - Received e-mail from Nova Scotia indicating that my file is in process and complete
December 2014 - File Transferred to Abu Dhabi Visa Office

Well, una mo gawin is contact mo ang PNP office mo and ask in case of a change in family composition (i.e. new child) kailangan ba mag-re-issue ng LoA to cover the new dependent?

Me mga LoAs na "named" (my term) - iba-iba kasi per province ang rules. Under sa tinatawag nating na "named" LoA - nakalagay ang pangalan kung sino ang kasali sa nomination. Madalas, hindi naman mahigpit sa new child at usually hindi na kailangan ng re-issue ng LoA para isama ang pangalan ng anak. Kailangan lang, me proof of relationship (i.e. birth certificate). Medyo masalimuot kapag new dependent via adoption - yun hindi lang BC ang kailangan. Most often, re-issue ng LoA ang kailangan if spouse ang nadag-dag.

Kaya una mong gagawin is kausapin ang PNP office mo and inform them - magkakaroon ng addition sa family, at kailangan bang mag-revise or re-issue ng PNP LoA?

Kung hindi naman kailangan ng re-issue, tingan mo muna kung kelan ang expiry ng LoA mo. Kung kaya pa naman hintayin makapanganak, at makakuha ng authenticated BC, at ipadala ang application sa CIO kasama ang new dependent, mas mainam, kasi isang beses lang ang padalahan at isang set of forms lang.

Kung hindi naman aabot, pwede naman idag-dag ang bata AFTER ng submission sa CIO at after me VO na assigned sa inyo at nai-transfer na ang file/application ninyo sa VO. In this case, magpapadala kayo ng updated CIC forms kung saan isinama na ninyo ang anak as a dependent, pero sa VO ninyo na ipadadala. As soon as ready na ang papeles ninyo (BC etc.), ipadala ninyo agad sa VO ang updated CIC forms. Bale lalabas na updating an application kayo.

If you want to cover ALL bases, there is no harm in sending to both - especially if this are just scanned copies. You can attach the LoA and highlight the section to inform CIO-NS when you send them a copy; then in your cover letter to ADVO, specify this is an update to the application.

Email sent to both offices sir Ragluf. I followed your advice to attach copy of the LOA with highlighted section and a concise cover letter Hopefully it will also serve as a wakeup call to my visa officer fingers crossed. Thanks a lot once again.
