Application - no expiry. However, docs, forms needed and requested by the VO has a "expiry" or a period where you need to send the replies. Otherwise, if you do not reply within a period, they can refuse/deny the application for non-compliance to the requests/deemed non-interest.

IME/Medical results - expiry 1 year

Hi! It depends. You can check the timeline para may idea ka. In my case, 3 days after they received my medical results, they requested na for my passport. Check your email from time to time.

Kung naglagay ka ng email address sa application mo - primary means ng communication sa iyo is email. Before eMedical, ang MR forms via courier, ngayon hindi na - most of correspondences from the VO via email na.

Mga kabayan, hihingi lang po ako ng tulong. I am currently in the Middle East. Nagpamedical po kasi yung wife & daughter ko sa St Lukes Global City. Kaso nagkaroon ng problem sa xray result ng wife ko at pinalipat sya sa St Lukes Ermita which is grabe pala ang hassle at dami ng applicants. Pinakuha po uli sya ng additional test which is sputum exam na gagawin for 3 consecutive days at sputum culture naman for 2 mos if negative ang result. Pinapupunta sya ng madaling araw para pumila for 3 days na un. Malayo po ang inuuwian nya. Since hindi pa naman naiforward yung medical results sa CIC, ok lang po ba na magpa full re-medical uli sila sa IOM? Ok lang naman po na gumastos uli ako. Gusto ko po sana lumipat na lang kasi mas malapit yung IOM sa inuuwian ng wife ko.

guys i'm leaving for Winnipeg in two days. i decided to use a Balikbayan Box as my 2nd luggage. am i gonna have problem with this or what? the size of the box is a standard 20x20x20 BB box. my flight is on May 9 via ANA + AC. any advice to those who landed already? Thanks in advance!

guys i'm leaving for Winnipeg in two days. i decided to use a Balikbayan Box as my 2nd luggage. am i gonna have problem with this or what? the size of the box is a standard 20x20x20 BB box. my flight is on May 9 via ANA + AC. any advice to those who landed already? Thanks in advance!

Here is my timeline:

**August 2013 - Application Received
**September 27, 2013 - Appication Processed
**October 4, 2013 - Medical Exam Request (Unfortunately we did not receive the email from CIC on this day)
**January 16, 2014 - Medical Exam Request (This time we receive the email from CIC)
**February 18 (mine) and 21 (wife) 2014 - Medical Exam Done (She took her Med Exam in Canada. And I took my Med Exam in Cebu Doctors' Hospital)
**February 28, 2014 - Request of PR fee and she paid it on the same day
**April 21, 22 and 23 - Medical Furtherance Test (Sputum Test)

The doctor's secretary said be going back to the clinic after 2 months for the result. What should I expect if the result is negative? What is the next step? And if the result is positive, should I take meds for 6 months? please englighten me. Thanks for the reply..

i have tattoo. and kasabay lang ng result ng medical mo lalabas un. magbabayad ka lang ng extra for the test.
