Around how much ang one way ticket from Manila to Winnipeg? Balak kasi naming na umuwi muna sa Pinas then go from there God willing.
Kailangan pa rin ng PDOS kung immigrant ka exiting from the PH. Magkaiba ang PDOS ng OFW and immigrants.

Kung ang plano mo is to go back sa PH para mag-vacation and then mula sa PH ka aalis papunta ng Canada, well hahanapin ang CFO sticker mo sa immigration counters as soon as makita ang immigrant visa mo. And para makuha mo ang CFO sticker, kailangan mo mag CFO PDOS for immigrants departing the PH.

usually po how long yong PPR from DM?

thank u po
Una muna PPR bago DM - as observed for PNP applicants. Hihingin muna ang PP mo, then magbabago into DM ang eCAS mo, which is usually taken as a sign na pabalik na ang PRV and CoPRs.

As to how long - no idea.

Hi Seltik,

Last April 2015 ang AOR ko, and until now wala pang Medical Request - even the COC request.

I agree on this. You will never know if may delays so sayang pa talaga learnings ng mga bata. Enroll them pa din po but your payment will be in a quarterly basis (depende sa school minsan every exams minsan din

Thanks.

Out-of-status, and hindi pwede mag-apply ng restoration of status sa PoE/border.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/validity/restoration.asp

Leaving Canada

Restoration of status cannot be granted at the POE. Individuals who have failed to comply with the conditions imposed under R185 need to apply in Canada for restoration of their status. If they leave Canada, they will be deemed to be seeking a new entry on their return.

File ka ng application to Vegreville (CPC-V) and include restoration sa application mo.

General rule of thumb nyan is Total Time = WP processing time + Restoration (8 weeks+)

So tingnan mo muna ang processing times ng WP applied in Canada then add ka ng 8 weeks. Hindi consistent ang 8 weeks, pagbago-bago yan.

As of now, (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.asp), working pa lang ang CIC sa applications received on Jan 23/Feb 10. So me gap pa until umabot sila sa applications received by the time mag-apply ka sa CPC-V. Halimbawa, taking Feb 10 - May 28, around 3 1/2 months yan, then add ka ng 8 weeks for restoration, so expect at least tatakbo ng 5+ months ang buong process. That is, kung ang application was received May 28, and WP extension ito for a new employer.

Hi guys,

We need help, sir ragluf or anyone in this forum that is capable to answer our question.
Thank you in advance.

We received email from manila immigration, stating that our papers are being process in their office with some documents attached on it and the medical request will follow within the next 72 hours.
We are just wondering why the manila immigration is the one who is processing our papers, we are working and leaving in singapore. We chose singapore visa office on the documents that we submitted at the CIC. Does anybody know the reason why? Does somebody encounter the same situation?
Thank you very much.

Been hearing this frequently. Normally, as lawfully admitted, and currently residing in SG (for more than a year at least) - you would expect your VO to be assigned as SGVO. As you mentioned you picked SGVO means you still submitted an application with the old forms - the one where IMM0008 still had the Q on what VO is requested to process the application. This question has been removed in the recently updated forms since mid-2014 I believe. Final decision where to assign processing is with CIO.

Now recently - posts of some SGVO applicants show their applications were transferred and being processed in CEM. Mostly the reasons were overflow of applications submitted, so some were transferred to different offices. Perhaps your application is another one of those sent to CEM due to this. Back read a bit - some posters reported (if I recall rosy cheeks was one) their application was sent to CEM.

On the other hand - many would welcome this development, considering the published processing times are shorter for CEM vs SGVO.

Yes you can.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/medic/exam/perform.asp

You need to have your IME conducted with one of the authorized/accredited clinics/panel physicians in SG. The main lookup is here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx

It will give you a list of PPs in SG where you can have your IME.

With eMedical - the results will be uploaded to GCMS (Global Case Management System - centralized application system) where the RMO (regional medical officer) responsible for the region, will look over it, and issue a medical assessment, and again upload these results to your file in GCMS.

depends kung ano hawak mo na passport. :) Kung green pa yan - better palitan na. Kung MRP pa yan (original/first issue ng maroon passports) - pwede hintayin pa ma-expire. Eto me nakalap ako via Google:
http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/story/169543/pinoyabroad/frequently-asked-questions-regarding-the-e-passport

So less wear and tear.

And lastly - consider mo na gagamitin mo pa ang passport mo for a few years onwards after na maging PR ka within this year. And hindi ka naman agad agad magiging citizen ka by 2017, so hindi ka pa magpapalit ng PP mo - I'd suggest I-renew mo to maximize the time na valid pa ang PP mo while being a PR.

Medyo matagal din mag-renew ng PP pag nasa Canada ka na, and because of travel time, turn-around time, also pupunta ka pa sa biometric capture if needed, sometimes malaking hassle. Mostly kapag me mission ang PH embassy, me kasamang PP renewal services, so marami ang nag-schedule ng PP renewal (talagang sinasadya) during missions.
