in process kami ng june 3, 2014
nagpa medical kami april25, then yung husband ko may6 kaya lang may furtherance kaya ngayon lang july21 nasubmit result nya, family of 4 kami.

a ok, medyo bago pa pala sa inyo. sana magkaroon na ng magandang balita one of these days.

thanks marlon919, pero natanggap mo na passport mo? may silbi ba kung may prepaid para sa bahay mismo ipadala ang passport?

hindi pa po, nareceive pa lang ng CEM ng July 28 passports namin so I'm expecting na makakatanggap ako ng good news (PPV) until next week.. i'm not sure po tungkol sa prepaid..

Pag po may trips to certain countries for ilang days lang. Should it still be included sa IMM5669 Background/Declaration? Kasi po nakalagay pala dun ay included ang vacations.. Panu po pag 3days lang? Thank u. Sana may makasagut po sa tanung ko.Godbless to everyone!

wait lang po talaga. ang problem namin mag-eexpire na ang medical namin, posible na kukuha kami ulit ng medical.. sana wag na lumampas ng 1 year ang security screening sa amin, may nabasa kasi ako 8-18months ang security screening.

Masyado na matagal yun - 8-18months depends on the VO processing the application plus specific details to the applicant.

Applications sa CEM do not (if you look sa stats nila) exceed past 12months for PNP. Typical sa FAM and LIC matatagal and sila ang madalas nahihingan ng re-medical and/or extension.

In your case, pwede naman i-extend ang validity ng medicals mo - that is dependent on the assessment ng officer. If sila ang me kasalanan on exceeding processing times na published nila, you can always contest any re-medical. Pwede. Madalas lang yumuyuko ang mga applicants sa sinasabi ng nasa VO and yes lang ng yes. You can always assert na ang kasalanan ng exceeding processing times is nasa VO na and ang resulting re-medicals request is not needed owing na ang delay is attributed sa kanila. This is why you need a paper trail of correspondence with the VO (di ka nagkukulang ng paalala sa kanila, me regular "updates" ka) dahil papunta ka na sa end ng processing time and mag-ready ka na with any eventuality.

Nevetheless, very rare ang cases ng re-medical na PNP sa CEM.

Kung me instructions sa iyo na magpadala ka ng prepaid envelop/pre-paid courier envelop - dun sa PPR letter mo mismo, then follow what is asked. Maghahanap ka ng local courier (kung nasa PH ka) na me prepaid return courier service.

Note usually mga pre-formatted letters of response lang ang ipinadadala mula sa mga VO so maaring me mga nakalagay dyan na di applicable sa PH. Prepaid return envelop is more applicable sa mga bansa kung saan regular/reliable ang ganitong service. Kung sa PH, hindi pa regular, and oftentimes hindi nag-offer kaagad ang mga local couriers.

If gusto mo gamitin ng VO ang prepaid return envelope mo - make sure me instructions ka included sa PP package mo telling the VO to use the prepaid return envelop to send the CoPRs and PPs back. Now - note ang CoPR is mahaba (almost legal-sized), so kailangan malaki ang envelop mo enough na pwede ilagay ang CoPR kahit na itupi pa, para maibalik sa iyo.

Ito po kasi nabasa ko email address ng Regional medical office here in manila baka lang mas maganda kung dito ko send yung updates ng medicals ko, more than 2 weeks na kasi wala pa pagbabago.

RMO is attached to the mission/embassy, yung mga email address na yan is for the use of the medical officers/panel physician to communicate, not for applicants to communicate with them. As per instructions in your initial AoR-VO - all communications will be directed to the VO processing the application. Given na lasy July 21 pa lang ang submission ng results ng medical furtherance, wait a bit. It takes a bit of time, between getting a medical assessment done to the next step in your application processing. Note this particular stretch - traditionally bumabagal - and the normal reasoning is - summer vacations. Unfortunate, pero nangyayari.

Yup, unfortunately, for some, the year starts on Sept, so all vacation days will need to be used up (walang carryover or conversion to cash payment) before 9/1 otherwise, wala na. And tatapat ng peak ng summertime, kids are off school, kaya ang hahaba ng vacations during this time. Kaya slow season usually ang July-Aug.

Ang pagkakaintindi ko po kasi may RMO na nakabased dito sa Manila so hindi na kailangan dumaan pa sa ibang bansa and CEM na ang mag update ng ecas once ok na sa medical officer ang medicals. Mali po ba intindi ko?Pasensya na po.

RMO and CEM is still populated by employees under the foreign service, na kung saan sila ay under the labor laws of Canada. Most officers hold diplomat status and saklaw ng labor laws ng bansa nila. In which case, they enjoy the benefits under their labor laws, not under PH laws. Ang ibang holidays nila is different (see statutory holidays ng CEM sa webpage nila.) Decisions always are handled by officers, ang gagawa ng medical assessment mo is an officer. Kahit naka-base ang RMO sa Manila, the officer may be on holiday or taking leaves as prescribed under their laws. Lalo na kung officer na on-foreign posting, most uuwi, kasi during this time vacation season naman sa Canada.

Most civil servants also here - during this time ang mga vacations. Kung preference pa din is following seasons in Canada, you can expect madami ang off during this period.
