Timeline after submission on the new PR confirmation portal

Thank you for your answer. So, what is the reason that some people get eCOPR in days, and us in months? When I see my letter from IRCC it has a signature from Virtual Landing Unit. What does that mean exactly? some people know about their branch in IRCC such as Ottawa, etc. Why mine is a virtual landing unit? Please discuss to reach a conclusion.

When you submit your PR application, everyone is randomly assigned a VO. Virtual Landing Unit(Operations support center) is the same as VO ottawa or any other one. As far as I've observed on various threads Although the initial emails are from VLU, the later emails are from a VO.

I had this same question while replying to the Email and for that part I entered: "No Spouse/Dependent".
I received my ECoPR and it says "Dependent: None".

Hi there,
I received my ecopr in July 7th after uploading the photo and providing my address. I haven't received the PR card yet. As I haven't received any update for about 6 weeks, I am a a bit unsure about the next step. Should I mail anything after receiving ecopr? or it is just waiting for the pr card.

1st Email 12 July 21 (Replied same day)
2nd Email 13 July 21 (Got Credentials
Uploaded the photo and address next day)
Able to link pr file in CIC account same day

ECOPR 28 July 21 in Pr Portal
GU1 29 July 21 Pr File APPROVED in CIC ACCOUNT.

No update after that.Address is approved and Photo is still in review with IRCC in portal.Never got any GU about PR card mailed in CIC account.

PR CARD RECEIVED 20 August 21
Came from Sydney NS office!!

IRCC has definitely speed up their process after the back log in 2020 due to COVID so don’t lose hope at all.Hopefully all of you will get your ECOPR AND Pr card mailed soon.
