They are hiring more officers. But you need to speak English and French because these are official languages in Canada. So because for this 10% of Canadian population who speak French they don’t have enough government workers. I’m waiting since 2019. And it looks like I wasted my 4y in Canada so far.

Well you didn't waste your 4 years, because some some people are still waiting for their hearing for up to 3 and even after that they were denied. So when I think of my waiting I just thank God that I have something to wait for. We will all see the end of this someday by God's grace.

Fortunately, we waited two years for the hearing, and it was positive! Now we are waiting for pr's approval. Think about those who are still waiting for the hearing, we are lucky!

Today, a person who submitted a pr application online on August 6 received an official AOR, and it seems to be speeding up soon!

I received letter from Mississauga office on Dec 16. that my file was transferred to Windsor office:

This letter refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada under the Protected Persons class.
Please be advised that your application has been transferred to a Canada Immigration Centre in WINDSOR for further assessment. The Canada Immigration Centre may contact you for an interview or to seek additional information or clarification. That office will make a final decision on your APR and communicate to you its decision.
Should you need to submit additional information or make any further enquiries regarding your application, you may contact the Canada Immigration Centre in writing as follows:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on February 19, 2020.
2. We started processing your application on February 2, 2021.
3. Medical results have been received.

I have been in canada since Sep. 2017. I have received my ECOPR Dec. 2021. So I have been here for 4 years. Probably within 2 months, I will receieve my Pr Card. So can anyone help me, when will I be eligible to apply for citizenship? Thanks.

you will still follow i guess the 3 years rule from the day your PR was approved.

It takes two years, in principle three years, but the time you spent in the country before will count as one more year!
