Has anyone here ordered the notes on their case?
If so, were they even helpful?

Hi everyone,

My prayers have been heard and I finally have good news *yay* :D
My husband was requested today (March 13, 2013) to send his passport to the London office so that they can stamp his visa.
They have said it can take up to 6 weeks.
However, I do have one question. My husband's medical expired first week of March, but they did not mention anything about his medical in the email. It is possible they got an extension?
Ecas still shows 'In process'.

So glad to see non visa exempt making progress!

I think you should email and make sure. If for some reason you have to redo the medical at least you'll get a head start!

Thank you Grizzlybear and blueboom. Hopefully you guys will hear good news VERY soon! :)
My husband told me he had emailed the London office about his medical expiring in the beginning of March and they sent him the passport request as a reply to that particular email, so it means the medical has been extended I believe.

The London office emailed my husband today and told him his medical has been extended until feb 2014. I guess they had gotten the extention before his medical even expired lol.

Is it fair to assume AfShe and FK22's cases are finished but they forgot to update the forum?

I want to assume that. I know of one other non visa exempt applicant not on the spreadsheet who got sponsor approval in August and DM in December, but I think that was an exception.

Since both of them applied before me, I think yes they would have heard good news and have finished this painful process.

you could try and send them a PM and ask for news - they might not go to the forum anymore, but pm get sent to emails, so they might read it...

hey,

the 9 months start from when london receives your file - so after stage 1. october in your case... if you see in my signature the spreadsheet, you will see the timeline, and there is a column to indicate people that are going through london but not visa-exempt. It takes longer than for the visa-exempt, but hopefully you will hear from them before the 9 months mark.
Good luck,
Sweden

The timeline starts from CIC approval in October, but I am not sure of the process involving CSQ is that slows anything down or not.
