Thread for December 2010 Applicants

yea i am still in canada, but had nothing to update you guys with until now. So yea it just says Decision made on my ecas. Once I kow its an approval then I can for sure go to Vietnam to see my family without worries. Thank you all for your comments
 
Hi guys, This is an update for you as per my hubby's spousal PR app.
His Ecas changed to decision made sometime this week so we are expecting the passport back with visa stamp in it this week or next. YAH!!! Hopefully!!! Delhi already have asked us for PPR and they have our passport so it shouldnt be long til we get it back.

Problem is we are not at home to receive it if it comes this week. We are vacationing and will be back in 3 days. Oops bad vacation timing I guess but we didnt know. We'll have to go pick it up at the local post office here in india because it is delivered by registered mail so without anyone at home it'll go to the post office =(

OK :) I call cic and they said that my application has been forwarded to singapore. So that means I am approved. Had me worried all this time especially that it took alot longer then the rest in this thread. I am so relieved now :)

Did anyone going through Buffalo hear anything other than our Monday batch?
 
@ vietcutieboy - I really am so happy for you. :) And it's nice to have you back in the thread! Let me know when you hear something from Singapore. I'm excited to update your information! Also, let me know the date on your approval letter, and I'll add that to the spreadsheet.

@ Jeff - I haven't heard anything from anyone since the Monday batch. My theory is that they work all week, and then send out notifications on Mondays for their regular processing. So, I'm hoping we'll have many AOR's on Monday. (But I'm keeping my fingers crossed that something will come through before then!) It would be better if they'd let people know on Friday afternoon.

I haven't been here in AGES, but I'm glad I popped back. I was really beginning to panic over my lack of AOR, so I'm a bit relieved (although disappointed for all of us!) that I'm not alone. I'm also excited to see some of you early December folks are starting to see movement, so hopefully I won't be too far behind. :)

Anyway, my info so far:

Received @ COC-M -- 17/12/2010
Sponsor Approved -- 18/1/2011
(I'm guessing "File Transferred" is the same as sponsor approval?)

Good luck everyone... I hope we all start seeing more progress soon!
 
date on approval letter is march 07, 2011 thank you so much. I love our thread. everyone has replied and our table is most complete compared to other threads

my E-cas shows: Application Received
We received xxxxx xxxxx's application for permanent residence on January 20, 2011.
Medical results have been received.

@ Amaranth - Welcome to the forum! I'm glad you came back. :) Yes, the AOR's have been insanely slow coming out of Buffalo. As far as we can tell, they didn't do much during February besides hang out at the water cooler and discuss what they should/did get their loved ones for Valentines Day. I'm hoping for MANY AOR's next week for our group. :) Keep me updated! Also, it's sort of funny but your dates are exactly the same as palamr's. hehe I wonder if you'll stay the same all the way through?

@ Shafin - Welcome to the forum also! You are our second member going through the Singapore office. Vietcutieboy is also going through that office, so you two can keep track of each others dates and perhaps give each other some help.

@ Vietcutieboy - You're updated. :D I can't wait for you to get your AOR, or whatever is next in Singapore.

Jeff, Congrats!! Thats great news!! :) im still waiting for mine...:( did they send the AOR via email or just regular mail for you???
 
My wife just got an email (came around 4 in the afternoon). Our e-cas isn't updated yet and neither of us have received any mail on it yet. So it was just the email so far.

Hoping you hear something today!
