Hey MandP,
My ecas didnt change from the standard 'we have received your application etc etc'. I checked on friday and it was like that, then i got the PPR email on monday 28th, so checked ecas and it said we started processing on 26th, made a decision, will contact you etc, and also said complete.
So they started processing mine on a saturday?? Hmmm
Anyway, I'm just happy to get the PPR, hopefully you wont be too far behind!

Thanks for sharing your experiences, I dont think its really worth checking e-cas anymore based on what has happened with you guys. I hope we hear soon too my girlfriend is having kittens since you two got it and I havn't yet!!

whoops...I just realised I put MandyP instead of MandP...Sorry :) I think it is just the luck of the draw on the visa person you get to process your file. Things seem to be a bit random in there. My fingers are crossed as well that you will hear soon.


pinklady, ours said that they started processing the application on the 26th of Feb (on a Saturday), like yours, and we had the email for PPR on the Monday, the 28th. They must have started looking at the application before then...ours was huge, all the pictures and things to prove our relationship. And to say that it was started on the Saturday...my brother works for the government...he has never worked on a Saturday! I'm impressed if someone was. :)
Anyway, my husband was sick last week so he didn't get around to sorting out his PPR...but he did it today...and it should be with the London visa office by 1pm tomorrow (Wed)!
Have you started planning for your move yet? Now that it is a reality, the whole task of moving seems a bit daunting...I'm wondering where we start! I think I see a car boot sale in our future :D

still no word on AOR from buffalo yet for me... :( i;m really hoping that we'll hear something by the end of this week.....

Woot...I logged into ecas and it finally says "in Process" When I clicked on the link it said 'File started on March 3'

! Your eCAS is working already? Wow! Hm. I bet you are just a little bit further ahead, since you have received the letter and the bar codes. My Sponsors hasn't been updated, and I still can't log in with my information. hehe Now it's time to check my mail box obsessively. :P

You guys will hear something soon! I think most people from Buffalo are receiving notification about progress on Mondays... So, hopefully we'll have another wave of information before then, but if not... Monday morning should be your day. :) And, hopefully, they'll have done some work on your applications already.

I hope that they work on ours as quickly as some of the November applications. There was one just about 2 weeks ahead of Kaz and me that already has their PPR (Atog). That's exciting!
 
I am hoping/assuming my case will process quickly as hubby and I have been married for 14years with no minor children. Quick and simple I hope.
I need to start doing some major things like figuring out how to import our truck and dogs and having a garage sale and....and... and...

I Suppose i'm lucky, I don't really have to think about moving. Most of my possessions are already here because i've visited so often over the last 4 years and each time left things behind then brought more over. Everything else that I dont need is at my mum and dads house stored in the loft.
When are you thinking you'll be ready to make the move?
 
OK GUYS I NOW HAVE MY DM, letter sent on march 7th, 2011. Checked my ecas today. Now I am just hoping that it is an approval.
