Checked the CAS today and a decision has been made.... lets hope its positive, still waiting for the letter that tells us what the decision was.... hmmmmmmmmm ... more suspense.....

Thank you everyone - for not only for putting up with me during my worrying, but for your kind words now It was indeed a lovely (early) Christmas present. It's actually mine and my husband's birthday this Friday (we both are born on the same day, him 2 years earlier, and yes it is on Christmas day!) so maybe we'll hear something around that time and get a lovely birthday present, too!

You just use your receipt number to see if you're in the system yet and if you're not, don't worry - it just means they haven't gotten to your application yet You should receive word soon, because your application was delivered the day after ours and we've gotten news, so just hang in there.

AHHHH I'm freaking out... we still have nothing on ecas (Never ship Canada Post) and my husband did not sign the back of one of his photos - he was the only applicant though, and in our geographical package the only place it said anyhting about singing was in the extended famimly area - so he assumed it did not apply to us.

I'm chewing my nails off here. This is the most frustrating thing ever.

Kay: If you are referring to a decision by CIC - Mississauga, then you can call the call centre to find out the verdict.

I'm SURE it will be fine, don't worry! I don't recall us signing any photos... and we've had ours processed (hopefully with good news, otherwise I'd assume they'd request new/more photos that are signed?) so they're probably working on yours now We also assumed it didn't apply to us.

And you're right, this really is the worst part, not even knowing if it's gotten there, if they've got it at the bottom of some pile where it'll get forgotten or what. It's reassuring to actually see something come up in their system so you know they can take it from there. Again, don't worry, I'm sure you will receive word this week! (I know, it's so easy to say that from my position, but remember I was you just a day ago!!)

I just called up and they confirmed that I have been approved to sponsor and that our case has been forwarded on to London. We are so thrilled.

And I finally spoke to a really nice customer service rep She was so helpful.

Well, I just called the Call Centre again. I got a veery helpful gentleman on the other line. Still no record of us. He told me to call back on Tuesday if I don't see anything on e-cas. He said it's suspicious that there is nothign yet. But not a reason for panic.

I'm thankfull we copied our entire application before we sent it in. This is just getting rediculous.

We are all going through the same things here. 2 weeks after I sent my application, I checked everyday on e-cas and was so surprised to see an update, i had to do a double-take lol. It is good to see that everyone's apps' are coming along. Fallenstar, hope things will work out.
