Well... The updated the timelines on the Immigration website - it appears they are still processing applicaitons from the 27th of November. I'm thinking they are short staffed bigtime - if they didn't move a day in a whole week. It sets my mind at ease a little. When I called yesterday the rep was actually super nice and told me that it does seem a bit off that we have yet to hear anything and are still not in the system BUT he said not to panic - with the holidays you never now what has happened. An officer might have started in to it, had a few days off and will come back to it as soon as they are back. I mean it's all logical, I'm just having a hard time staying rational beacuse we are seeming to have the worst luck EVER with this whole process! I'm just wondering what we did to screw up our karma so badly lol. He also told me however, that if the processing date changes to a December date to call back and they will trace it. I'm lucky my husband is actually with me for the holidays right now. He keeps me level.

ekristensen, suin, kay, egytbeb et al. I am so truely happy for all of you... sorry im so wrapped up in my own demise at the moment.

Happy holidays to everyone!

Do not worry about that at all! We all understand what you are feeling, especially us who've only heard something back in the last week or so. Come here and rant to us about it all, that's what this forum is for ;)

Happy holidays to you and everyone else here.

I just logged in today and got a decision made. Is it a good sign when the decision for application to sponsor is made quickly. I swear my heart is jumping outa my chest right now, I don;t know if I should be worried or excited.

Logged in today and saw 'In Process' Clicked on it and learned that it has been in process since Dec. 22nd. Looks like we are progressing along nicely.

Congrats gteacher! You'll probably hear soon, they are back to work tomorrow :)

congratulations, gteacher!
happy holidays! :)

Glad to hear about your good news fallenstar :) Congrats to gteacher as well.

I have a question....my husband may have to move to a new place, will this be a problem?

You can just call them up or send them a letter informing of your address change. I've not personally done it myself but heard of others do it, and they can change it no problem :)

Great, thanks ekristensen :D

you can also update address on-line - on ecas

You can only change the sponsor's address thru ecas, and I am the sponsor, I may need to change my husbands.
None-the-less, thank you Suin.

you can change the address of sponsored spouse when your spouses on-line info will change to in process - we successfully did it in our ecas.

Oh cool, didn't know that, thanks bunches Suin :) btw...basically how long does that take?
