I wish CIC would make their mind up!! I got an e-cas update..same info as last week "Decision Made" except my address is back on there!! :
So I guess they might have opened my passport

I am on E-cas as "in Process". I tried to login with my file number but I was not sure which category it belonged to so I used my husband's (suponsor) client number and info. Like the AOR letter it has been in process since August 30. It did not say anything about needing more documents (such as my FBI certificate) so I assume they have not really checked deeply into the application yet.

Immigration File number I used. Mine started with "B" and 9 numbers from the AOR letter.

I have an Ecas status update today! It says that they have made a decision on my application - which is kinda good as they've had my passport for a week. I was hoping to get it back soon.

hi im new to this thread and i hope you can help.
Submitted application 1st week of june.
July 28, 2010 - Canadian embassy in the Philippines asked for my passport
Aug 5, 2010 - They asked me to submit the family information part of the application (not sure why as that was included in the original documents sent in the 1st week of june)
As of today they have not returend my passport yet with the visa.
Is this normal and does it usually take this long upon the time they requested for my passport?

I believe it varies from office to office. You might get some idea in that thread as they are all from Manila office.
