Now will i be receiving any letter from NewDelhi regarding cleint id and other info ?? If so by what time i can expect ??

Also is there any way to check with delhi people to get confirmation regarding my file arrival to Delhi office??

You or person getting PR/sponsored will get a letter, indicating that PR is in process and file number

Nuthing much happening. Trinidad takes long with the process (3 months to get AOR) so I guess I wont be on this thread with any good news soon.

Hi All

Nothing much happening here..No E-CAS update..and still says "in process"! I am hoping for an update next week as I will have been "in process" for 4 weeks on Thursday 12th! I am going to pay my RPRF on Thursday hopefully I wont have my case held up if I pay now instead of waiting for the fees to be requested!

Nothing here either.. it still says "Not Available" under our status so I guess Buffalo hasn't even opened our application yet. Still trying to be patient.

Same here..still "not available". I need to send my FBI certificate so I am extra anxious when I hear from them since I don't want anything to be delayed. Can't log on as an PR applicant yet either...so more wait for me as well. *sigh*

Today I checked Ecas and it shows PR application is "in Process" at New Delhi office.

"We started processing the application on August 4, 2010"

so it took 22 days for the New Delhi office to start processing my PR Application as mine was transferred on July 13 2010.

My sponsor's ecas changed to we have started processing xxxxxxxxx since 4th August. Can someone tell me wotz the next step and aw long will my sponsor ecas change again to the next level?

You will most likely not hear from London for another 4 - 8 weeks now, perhaps sooner if they need to request any documents from you..did you provide an email address? London likes to send emails instead of mail! If not dont worry..but they dont send AOR!

@ britincanada, yes I provided email in the application, hopefull they will get in touch But uptill now.. we r only using my wife's client ID to access the progress on ecas as I didnt recieve any file number from London office. Do u advise my wife to mail them on my behalf? probably this means could make them provide my own personal file number. Wot do u fink?

Acknowledgment of Receipt. Some offices give them, some don't. If your office does, you'll get a letter stating that they've started working on your file and sheet of barcode stickers in case you need to mail them something. you'll also get a B-number, which is your local processing file number.

Thank Gosh, someone explained what AOR is. Now, what is a CSQ? Does Buffalo send an AOR or a CSQ? Has anyone in the June thread heard from Buffalo? From what I can gather on the other pages, they are just working on the April and May ones?

Let's keep our fingers crossed that everybody gets back from summer vacations, all the student visas have been processed, and things start to really move along for all of us!

A CSQ is a certificate de selection du Quebec. This is only needed if you are planning on settling in Quebec. It has nothing to do with buffalo. After the sponsorship is approved, Mississauga or Vegreville, depending, sends you a letter that MUST accompany the rest of the forms sent to MICC-Quebec. Then, if approved, Quebec gives the applicant a CSQ which is required to get all the social services in the province, as well as in-province tuition and things like that.
