If the mailing address is one your Husband no longer lives at or friends/family members you might want to alert CIC this letter contains personal info..strange they assumed it was still his address!!

this is very strange ... they hv sent sponsorship approval letter to the mailing address .. n now we have lost the letter ..
hw can they be so bad in checking the addresses??? really pissed with these CIC people ...

anyways i am happy one way that my file got transferred to NewDelhi office on 03rdAug2010. Now my waiting for PPR is started ....

just out of curiosity i would like to know whether u were able to see ur status in e-cas before getting ur letter ???
bkz mine is 1 day next to yours and till today my husband details are not able to identify by ecas ...

I was able to check my status on e-cas a couple of days before the letter arrived (dated Jul 28 and received Aug 03)

We were able to log onto E-CAS 2 days after my Husbands sponsorship approval too! I think some people are able to and others have problems logging in!

Finally I was able to log on ECAS!!!!...just tried again and realized I was typing something wrong
So....Im a little bit worry...It only says "DECISION MADE" and this...

We received your application to sponsor ******* on June 30, 2010.

We sent you a letter on July 30, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Does it means it is approved or not???...It doesnt says that my Application has been forwarded to Mexico City.... ??? :-[

Any ideas on what does this means???

No E-CAS was updated on a Tuesday and it stated that my application was "In process" since 15th July 2010..I got an email with my file number from London, but only because I had emailed them asking if they need a copy of my New Visitors Record..

Dont worry this is a standard message on E-CAS, you will get your letter soon..which is when you will find out if your application has been forwarded..I would be surprised if your not approved It can be frustrating waiting but try not to worry..

Hi guys,

I just got AOR today! My application is sent to Buffalo. I'm kinda wondering, I should call CIC because I wrote Seattle as my visa office in medical check form... I think its' not big deal but still worried if they'll send the medical to Seattle...

I'm also wondering, I'm able to log in to e-cas with my client id that's the id when I applied for study permit before. However can't login with neither mine nor sponsor's details plus the client id on AOR...Why???

Our sponsorship letter was sent to a wrong address and we have missed the same now. when checked with call centre agent they said our file was transferred to NewDelhi ..

Now will i be receiving any letter from NewDelhi regarding cleint id and other info ?? If so by what time i can expect ??

Also is there any way to check with delhi people to get confirmation regarding my file arrival to Delhi office??

A Good news from my side .. my husband is able to login into ecas and is showing Decision Made. Thank God ...

i am stil little bit tensed till my husband receives the sponsorship letter ..

i have a little doubt .. there are 2 addresses mentioned in ecas one is current home address and other is current mailing address ...
current home address shows his present address and mailing address shows the address which he mentioned during his PR card process...

my husband didn't mention the mailing address being shown in ecas anywhere in the application but they have taken from his PR records ...

Now my doubt is whether they will send the Sponsorship approval letter to the Current Home Address or to the Current Mailing Address??

RELAX CHINTHU!!! the same thing happened to us too...the current home address was the present address where my hubby is staying n we gave the same address as mailing add in d appln...but in d mailing add part it showed his old address(given durin his PR process)...we just called call center agent n told them that we wont b able to get the sponsorship approval letter n told them to change it in Ecas...they askd us to wait for 3 weeks n so they cud send another letter to his add....u know within 1 week our mailin add got changed n he also received d letter to his present home address...our file got transferred on june 22 n got letter on 28th....

so it means that Ecas reflets the old address coz we used the client id n it may reflet the old address but the letter is sent 2 the current address....so just tell CIC 2 change in ECAS(u can also do it online and inform CIC) and wait for a week to get the letter....

We did the same what u said wrt address change the moment we saw the old address in ecas ... they said 3 wks for us too ..

And to my surprise my husband received our sponsorship letter couple of days before ...

and the fact is CIC is considering the mailing address which we are giving in our applications and not the one that is related to sponsor's PR card.
