@Mandie and all ,are we suppose to pay the permanent residence fee before landing even if The visa office don't make mention of it? I am confused as I have sent my passport to AVO but I want to know if I have to pay the PR fee before landing. Thanks
Are you sure the $490 RPRF was not included in your application fee? (Total $1040?). I will be surprised if AVO does not ask for proof of RPRF in your PPR e-mail if you have not already paid it. As far as I know, the visa will not be granted until the appropriate fees are paid. Check your receipt and see if you have not already paid. If you have not paid and AVO has not requested it, respond to the PPR e-mail raising this issue.

Well said mandie, payment should be done before the visa is issued, either avo forgot to request for it or you missed the correspondence.
