@ mamadmama usually they send the refusal email 1 or 2 days after interview. I am sure GOODNEWS is right at the door for you and your husband. Not easy to wait patiently but it's worth it. May GOODNEWS Come for you both soon.

Yes it does not suck to pay now as u will not have to wait for extra weeks to make patment before DM

What is not clear in the post?
I said he went for an interview at AVO,there was no red flag ,no concerns about wedding,no concerns about age or certificate or anything what so ever but the Officer stated to him that "I don't think you are eligible" and he said l will get back to you soon by email.That was it.

Well, what is still not clear was why he is deemed ineligible. I guess only the email will give a more insight into the situation. Cos it is really wierd to be told one is not eligible without any grounds. I do feel for you and pray that the it is some misunderstanding and that smile by the officer means he was pulling your hubby's legs and will actually be sending out PPR soon.

Does anyone have any idea if it's possible to do an upfront medical for an expired medical? My hubby's, medical expired in feb and haven't heard anything from AVO. Just tryna get every delay out of the way. Beside, I applied to sponsor my husband in april 2014, no email form AVO ever since my file got transfered to accra July 6, 2014, no concern, no request. Just worried...

So your application has been on for close two years, as you said it was submitted since 014. you can go ahead and do new medical to avoid the delays you talked about.

Reach out to ur mp and have him enquire about ur case, then u. Will know where u stand before taking any action

You cannot do remedicals until you are asked to. There is a form that usually comes with the email they send. It's pre filled with your datas. You have to print this form and take it to the clinic. My husband medical expired in December 15 and we received email to redo end of February. 2 months and half after it expired
