Hi Ritzy in the letter asking for everything ..they said we had 30 days to get things in..and that in 30 days a decision would be made on the file...heres what they wrote..

You have 30 days from the date of this letter to submit additional information so that we may continue processing your application. Please note this will be the ONLY opportunity we will provide for you to submit additional evidence. Your application will be assessed in 30 days and the final decision will be based on the evidence on file at that time. If you choose not to respond with additional information, a decision will be made based on the information on file, which may result in the refusal of your application. Please quote your application number on your correspondence and address your correspondence to the Canadian High Commission for Ghana in Accra at the address indicated below.

You will definitely hear the answer very soon. My hubby got his decision 8 days after the 30 days had passed but that was probably because of the Christmas and New Year break

And when do you send it?
When does it delivered?
I'm asking because I send mine one week today..

Hello nwanyi Igbo, yes they send me redo medical on the following day of the interview, my medical was done on 10th of February 2016, and my interview comes after my interview have expired ,and my PCC have also expired too ,but I got my remedical just the following day

I agree with you ...CIC is working day after day ..but the way guys are blaming them is alarming..

Some people don't even tell us when they received message from AVO here,rather they hide it,

Trade with Jehovah grace make my interview a sweet one,I'm still feeling bad that people who go to interview before
Me never Get ppr,I'm also worried could it be that they didn't go with enough evidence since they didn't announced it to get help ,but all I pray is that every one that goes to interview will hear from AVO this month and get ppr,


I'm still saying this until some one will hear,problem share is problem solve..
Some one said AVO is holding his original after interview, I guess they checking things out for your good,
But I'm begging every one here stop hiding what's going on your profile it does you no good...

If you got a message for additional documents ,say it here ,people will tell you all you will send to them,but if you think you can do it alone ,it might not be enough ,

Once you give AVO enough evidence and your relationship is simple and good ,you are getting ppr straight,
I will say the only reason I got interview is because I submit almost empty application, no ID from me,not Even a school certificate, not even enough photos, not even an evidence of communication, but when I was call to interview I go with all this to convinced them.
All us will get ppr and pick up mail from now to April as CIC have vow to make up the timeline,
So keep your head strong and never give up

Thanks for the private message where you completely missed my point about people needing to support each other and we'll never know the whole story and that's ok.. I'm starting to worry about how obsessed you are about people telling the truth and people's business. I think you need to relax. Timosky has been to AVO and back ooooo. He had the opportunity to ask the officers about how they process applications and also basis for final decision.

Lol Ritz you are very funny lol,they didn't tell me how they process ooo ,
I go there to Face my own stake ooo,
But what I have to say here is that every one should be ready ,because AVO is not really the way they are last year,
Last year they hardly give interview rather additional documents, but this year we have witness about 3 people from forum alone,
Last year they use to give a month interval on interview, but this year my own is just a week ,7 days to come to another country for interview with additional documents to come with..



So what I have to tell even myself and any one is this, get any additional documents you feel they may ask you ready,
And also if you have time start looking at interview questions and be studying it because as its now no one can predict what tomorrow will bring from AVO.. It can be additional documents, it can be interview ,but what I pray for is ppr..be courageous and strong ...the waiting game need a lot of patients at first but once it's done it look like just a month ,hang in there ...keep your head up..

That really sucks about these medicals oo. You just missed it by a few days.

I agree with you. Everyone has different experiences. There is no doubt that AVO has been good to people, helping those get PPR quickly so some can hurry to see their sick spouses, and then they have been not so good to people, like in the case of Samola. And it's true though, we will never know each other's full stories. And that's ok. There is no policy we sign to spill all of our situations to every last detail on this forum. We all just have to believe in each other and being good and kind to each other, help each other along the way the best we can. We also need to advocate for ourselves and not 100% rely on the information we receive here because at the end of the day we are not immigration specialists. There is no doubt that AVO and visa offices all over the world need to improve their systems. Let us hold them accountable and inform ourselves and take responsibility for informing ourselves with the right sources. For people to complain that others on here have not helped you enough is not a fair statement. We're all just trying to make it through this crazy journey. Stay hopeful. Stay sane. Stay supportive.

Becos...I applaud you for your words...some may not post..including myself ..just because sometimes its just too much to talk about everything..especially in a public way..somedays its just a fight to get out of bed after you have cried all night from going through this process...other times its a matter of trust ..not everyone in this forum is supportive...I myself have not tried to hide anything and Im praying for the day my husband has landed so I can help others without fear of cic..anything can happen...Ive seen very well documented cases refused while others with nothing get through..sometimes its just faith and luck...

@Timossky99, thanks for your comment and I really agree with you. What I see in this forum is that some people only read their friend post and ignore others and this forum is not meant that way. I think we need to share problems and read everyone's comment especially when it is an urgent matter cos that could also happens to us too.

bbcCanada, there's no way of knowing what people are reading and not reading. Please let's not jump to such statements as it causes negative feelings in the forum. I for one try to read every message and go back a few pages when I've been away. However, I can only comment on the topics I know something about. I have not gone through this before, so if i can't direct someone to a earlier message that someone solved a similar problem or an external resource, I hesitate to add noise and my own speculations to a topic (unless the person is asking for ideas and not solutions). This is a sensitive process and emotions are high in some people, the last thing I want is to advice incorrectly as consequences are dear.

That said, I noticed your name a while back in this thread, but your timeline indicates you only just applied. is it a new application?

As waiting time ranges from some months to a few years, I was thinking of filing for a TRV for my wife and kid. Who in the house have successfully application for a visiting visa for their spouse? I have two questions about the documentation for the visitor's visa;

1. How do I word the invitation letter?

2. What documents do I show for purpose of travel as I can't book flight till approved, I can't book hotel since they will stay with me and they are nit coming for any medical appointment. (These are the 3 type of evidence listed in the site under the propose of travel section)

Any idea good people?

Ugh! i posted a response to this and lost it. Short answer: if you have already started the sponsorship, don't bother. You have to prove significant ties to the home country for your spouse and child to leave Canada which to them is nullified 'cos you have indicated you want them here permanently by initiating the sponsorship.

Proof that they require is things like, job letter, school completion, business that you are running etc. (this is what people have used for TRV successfully in other instances). I am yet to see a spouse from (West) Africa get it approved since I started following this forum almost a year ago.
