I think your husband should go to you oo, and you guys can return together if AVO does the needful.
We applied for a TRV for my wife to see if she could come over to visit. I have already decided that if she gets denied, I'm resigning and packing my bags to go be with my family. I cannot go and come and die. Its becoming unbearable. lol

Anyways, guys, lets continue to hang in there. Not knowing what is going on is the most frustrating thing.

When vo is silent on ur case after submitting a requested documents...its a good news..keep fingures crossed....they will be moving to appril applicants soon so they will be finalasing those in march before that

What exactly is holding AVO from finalizing applicants applications. This is really apoly. I Thought, lastest AVO would finalized May applications in December which i estimated as in 7 to 8 mmonths. But right now, January, February, march and April' applicants are still waiting. What is wrong with them.? If they need more hands, they should employ more Immigration officer's. In other VO Office , July applicants have started receiving DM. Well God Help us.

I am expecting GCMS notes by the end of the month,hopefully i will see something interesting when it finally arrives. The last one i received in June stated "pending inland action". Same thing was the reponse from MP when i contacted them. Waiting game....my dear Lamour... Every life challenge has an expiry date..... 8)

Pardon me! Its been awhile since I logged in. I have just been busy trying to get hubby settle in. Plus, he has been busy oiling some dry parts of the machine. hahahahahahaha. Do not be dismayed, for everyone's portion will be doubling soon. Hubby landed on December 02 2015 and we were beyond ourselves. ****hint hint**** We might be baking bread in the oven! ***Jokes****

Hi my lovely Friends ! Its been a while I have not been here.sadly it seems Accra has forgotten my file in their office.I am December applicant .I was asked to provide police certificate from the Gambia .the first I provided was rejected.and I had to provide another one.I didn't hear from them and I had to travel to the Gambia to get it .I mailed the certificate from the gambia and the receipt of payment and finger prints .this was on November 14 ,2015.till now I have not heard from them.guys I am losing my mind.this Is the only thing requested of me and I did provide it.very sad.

1.what was the reasons for the rejecting of the first police clearance?

2.have you checked your ecas recently? If no then check it and also check ur spam...sometimes important messages gets stuck there...
3.you can also use ur local mp...i personally dnt trust notes request too much and it also take too much time so contact ur local mp

They asked me to let the Gambia police write to them.but that's not possible.the Gambia police says no.unless they first write to them and they will respond.this is tiring.

If u dnt hear from them few weeks after submitting the requested docs...its a sign of good news...they would have messaged u if they weren't satisfied...so keep ur fingers crossed

About the mp...u know who is ur mp in canada right? The newly elected one..go to his office and speak to his representative and u will be cleared in less than 2weeks

Hey guys sorry for my absence for a while. I've been away with work commitment and had to spend a lot on keeping in touch with my email to see if anything will pop up from Accra. It's quite disheartening thatJanuary February and March applicants are still waiting to hear from Accra. Or are they prioritizing the Syrian refugees above us???

Very disheartening. AVO has been slow even before the Syrian refugee issue came up. Heaven knows what's going on with them. Im hoping that we will hear positive news on this thread this coming week.

Yes, it's very sad. How can you provide what doesn't exist.
In addition to what ghanaboy mentioned, please write them an email as regards the breakdown of Gambia procedure and let them know they can also verify with The Gambia authorities. Anything you write to them, it stays on your file in as much as they don't reply.

Thanks Lamour and Ghanaboy2.my wife and I have written to them severally ,yet no response .for over 2 months we have been writing .I am tired of writing and not geting response so I stopped.I have done my best .let God finish the rest.it's well.
I can't give them what doesn't exist and they can't authorise Gambia police force to change their certificate type.its their choice to make it that way.Canada and Gambia are different and so do their character certicifate is.whether they like it or not,that's the way it is and will always be.they can delay me but they can't waste me!
