Actually I applied for PR on October 9 and CIC received it on October 10.my got an email requesting for additional family information form which we did filled and was asked to fill it again on 27 november 2014.on 24 February,I was let to know that the sponsorship has been approved.but when I checked ecas,it says our application was received on 8 december 2014. Is this a mistake from CIC?

You are welcome. It seems like you also got the run around like i did. Sometimes i think they get confused but i would call them and let them know so that it could be clarified. The call centre agen will be able to explain, if you call and the agent cant help you, call back because i noticed information changes from agent to agent. The number is 186602422100.

They are actually in November cos a friend just told his wife got PPR last week Wednesday. He applied in November. Three weeks after me am sure.

He actually sent his application to Mississauga in November? or his file got transferred to Accra in November?

Either way it's ok

Hello All,

I'm happy to announce that I got the email this morning that my wife's visa is ready !!! We are so happy and thankful that it is all over . It went in process this morning and boom got the email a few hours later


God bless this forum and I'll be eagerly waiting for good news from Lamour , gonja , mekus , lisa and best of luck to NkT in her appeal . Thank you all for your help and encouragement . Special hello to Ghanaboy !

It sounds to me that after you resent the form on Nov 27, they "considered" you as a December applicant. Could be a mistake but I've also seen this happen.

Lisa is a special case, they still see her as September applicant, but from what I've seen, when people resend forms, CIC changes the received date. It's not fair especially if it was their mistake. Call to confirm

Yes i think that's usually the case. In fact, I was surpised when i saw they kept my initial submission date. I thought it was abnormal but who knows...

Hey moh congrates.its worth celebrating it u know.i never knew nkt had to go through apeal processing.well it does happen once upon a time.it only delays the process and the reunion but can't deny it so please take heart and dnt forget to keep drawing encouragment from here.we are all here for each othere until there's no applicant left for accra to process then they will have to go back to their country.welcome all u new applicants and best wishes to u all waiting.

I had originally applied in October as well, I think October 5th. I also had to resubmit a form and eventually they said that my application was received November 24.

Hey Jonny. Just curious to know if your friend applied in November or if his application was transferred in November? Either way this is good to hear.

Well I doubt that because Delio was transferred the same day as me and she got her PPR a month before me. Her application was filed August 11
