What next when processing background checks

Passport Request (if they don't need additional documents or interview). The background check can take anything from a few hours to months, depending on the case.

No background check still says: Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.

Well, if you call their call center on 18882422100 and follow the voice prompt 1 1 2 (permanent residence) 3, and then enter your application number, it'll tell you whether your background check has started or not.

Thanks I did call. background check not done yet so still waiting game.
