How long is it taking for PR application for the kids who are born in USA?

So, I got an update last week.
And when I checked, it was the Medical request. Thank God.
(I guess attaching the medical info along with the application - meds done for the intitial TRV, could have made this delayed medical request.)

I have got the med appointment for tomorrow. Will do that and then see. Really hoping to have this application process and approved asap.

My son's medical was completed and the result (as the doctor) told me was updated soon after and the status was also updated in myCIC as medicals passed.
Today morning when I check, MyCIC has no change. But in eCAS, it shows Decision Made at the main status. ( Thank God). But when I click inside there's no update.
I just hope and pray, as others mentioned here, I too get the PPR in a day or two.

Applying from Ontario and will be sending the mail application to Mississauga. My kid is USA citizen and is with me here in Ontario. What the timeline for such a situation. Do i need to do meds for my baby? Thanks

For US applications, the CIC website says 21 months !!!
But from Canada it says 10 months.
All the dependent child applications are refered as to be outside of Canada. I hope you get within the 10 months window.

Medicals is required. For the family sponsorship, now there's no need of advanced medicals. rather you submit the application and wait for their update to do the medicals.

You cannot apply for the OHIP, until your kid's application is reviewed. The other option is if your kid has already been in Canada and has a valid (Student permit / dependent visa).

The CheckList 5287 is your best guide in this. Please keep all the documents (as relevant and applicable to you) as prescribed in the checklist, in the same order as it is mentioned in the checklist.

And indeed it was the Passport Request. Thank God...
The MyCIC account shows no update yet. I got the PPR pdf directly in my email (I was expecting it in MyCIC, just like the medicals request). Now, let me send the Passport.

Yes she is with me in Canada. She is just 4 months old and has a visitor visa basically a USA citizen. When should I apply for her ohip? What docs will I require?

unfortunately, Service Ontario will not accept the visitor visa record for the OHIP. You need to have an IRCC letter stating the kid is eligible for PR, or the PR approval letters.

Its been 6 months, I submitted the application for my 2yr child, except application number there is no update. What about other guys here. i had submitted web form as well for update but as always only standard response that all documents are in place and will be informed if decision is made.

Have you checked the eCAS to see whether the Sponsorship approval was done ? I hope you checked your junk mails as well.
