I think that Email notification came in later than the PPR letter. I received Email at 14:02 PDT which is 17:02 EDT and my PPR was sent at 16:23 EDT. Actually I wasn't expecting PPR at all till I saw on the forum that several PPRs have been received by other fellow April applicants who have the similar timeline like mine, I then went to check my Email and MYCIC. The moment I opened that PDF file, I feel the time stopped. The happiest moment ever......I do hope everybody who is still waiting will also receive their PPR soon. God bless us.

WOW!!! CIC is on quite a roll. Congrats to all those who have received PPR!!!!! I can only imagine the feeling and I'm dying to experience it myself. I pray that the rest of us Aprilites will get that feeling very very very soon.

FINALLY some movement on my application, ECAS changed to IN PROCESS!!!!!!! We continue to hold the faith.

OMG my ECAS went to in process too! I checked it last night at 6pm and i figured that would be it for this week, then I saw your message just now and I am like today is a Saturday, but whatever doesn't hurt to check, then IN PROCESS. Hopefully it means PPR soon. I am under implied status since Jun27, and I have heard people getting their BOWP rejected due to no 2nd AOR. I am also trying to leave the country for a vacation around end of August and without BOWP or PR I can't leave the country since I will loose my implied status.

Mine changed to updated today too. I checked but didn't see any updates. Later, I received an email from CIC saying that my profile had been updated and this time I saw an update. My background check had changed to In Progress.
