They probably haven't created your file as of yet?That's weird though, did you get any update in myCIC such as additional documents requested?

I am so sick of the process being way slower inside canada than outside. It is so unfair that people who are in Canada have to still wait for anything to be official while people outside canada are getting processed faster.

ECAS "Application Received" --- "In Process": Aug 14

My current PGWP is also expiring in the end of October, I have not received 2nd AOR yet. It seems that not many applicant received 2nd AOR.
Have you got any update for the BOWP application?

There is considerable speculation that 'In Process' in ECAS is concurrent with PER. I'm inclined to think that is correct because I got rejected today on a POF technicality (more details about that on the Rejection thread) but what is pertinent here is that I was 'In Process' from 6/19 and got refused on, arguably, the least important FSW criteria. That probably indicates that everything else on my application checked out.

You got rejected?! sorry to hear that and good luck with your new application.
I don't want to get too nitpicky but we have spoken before about how there seemed to be different processes for those inside Canada and those outside and if memory serves, you applied from outside? Did your MYCIC ever change to background check in progress?

Outlander. BG check never moved to In Progress.

But I'm fairly positive now that ECAS 'In Process' appears to be a reliable indicator of PER regardless of where you are applying from.
