As I said before, the points are locked the day you file your application. So even if they contact your employer they can verify your employment and whether you worked there in the position you claimed. Now that you don't work there anymore, and even if you inform they, it won't matter as it will not affect your points and thus will not have any impact on your application.
I have one more question. I claimed 2 year experience and got points for that. I worked for first company for 1 year and 11.5 and after working for 15 days at 2nd company i completed my 2 year experience. My current company didn't provide me duties letter as i was in probation at that time of application but i uploaded my offer letter and pay stubs and attach LOE to explain that. so my i question do i need to update cic with duties letter or they will ask me if needed. I will have more points then cutoff of draw even if cic don't give me points for 2 year experince as i am pnp. Should i raise cse with duties letter then? Thanks
If you have more points than the cutoff, there is no need. However, if you can get a letter from your company now which will add more years to your experience and thus give you more points, that is always advisable and you should do it. But make sure that you send a detailed letter of explanation and let them know that you would like to have this additional work experience accounted for. However, when you submitted your application with the pay stubs, and contract that should be enough to prove your experience.
Hope this helps!
