Did you give them the UCI and the EE number. Because this is unheard of of you have both the numbers. Also, as a matter of fact the GCMS notes can be obtained without the numbers only with the name and date of birth. You will need to check with them again and make sure what is going on.RabinJi said:

You will also need to carry your passport in which the visa was stamped. I am not sure if you will have goods following you or you are taking some household goods along with you, because if you are and even if they will follow later, you will need to have a list so that the customs can inpect it and ofr later they will stamp it and give it to you so that when the goods arrive you are not asked to pay duty on it.

As per law you can land only once and that is the ONLY time the Canadian Government allows all your household goods, jewellery, electronics and anything else to enter without paying any duties or customs. After that if you bring anything, there will be a duty. To avoid the duty, all you need to do is make a list and present it to the officer at the airport and let him know that these goods will come later. He will keep one copy and give you the other copy with the stamp and a date. Next time you enter Canada with the goods, all you have to do it show the list and you will get all the goods. Thank you so much for your reply ! About any following goods, I won't have any following goods with me this time as it's a short landing but there will be next year when I permanently move there. Should I still make a list of any potential goods that I will bring to the country in the future ?
