I guess I’m just unlucky and didn’t get the auto pass

My thoughts: validity date being there indicates they have already finished work on it, and if there is a red flag they must have censored more, or be taking longer to do it. The most likely cause is a lazy officer or my frequent address changes affected something. But then I cannot find another case of “Received” status here

I filed mandamus in July, with change in federal court rules, I had to proceed directly to step 2 by filing an affidavit and memorandum with all objective evidence. I was confident on my case as I came as a student, got pr through Express Entry, and I am not from Middle East. IRCC had 30 days to respond to my step 2 filings and on last day of dealine, they cleared my application and provided a response that they approved my application and mandamus application stands moot as the application is finalized.

I did all ground work like demand letter, MP inquiries, gcms notes etc before doing mandamus.. It takes minimum of 3-4 months for a response on mandamus. In my case, it was a positive response.

Has anyone applied for a U.S. visa while undergoing CSIS screening and still received the visa without being issued a 221(g) (Administrative Processing)?
I'm trying to find out if the two are linked or not

With the new IRCC processing time system, it appears that there are more than 40,000 applicants ahead of me, whereas they cleared around 2,500 last month. So I think this will take forever...

BG can potentially take 2 to 3 years for some. But that has nothing to do with IRCC itself. It's mostly at CSIS and CBSA level.

The tracker was down for a while, it's fixed now so you should be able to log in.
