If you can share when did you do your second fingerprints, also did you send them to Sydney location or local office like Scarborough ? Last time they got update with in 2 weeks of fingerprinting

I reached out to Scarborough (from testing email) and they said the office who are dealing with my process will reach out but nothing yet. I repeated the same process with old letter, sent to Sydney. First FP was updated for me after 3.5 weeks (Fingers crossed for similar timeline as it has been 3 weeks already with no updates).

Thank you for the information. I think I will also get the fingerprints done as there seems to be no option as of now, will take a gamble at sending them to Sydney office. Hello, my Background Check is finally marked to Completed this morning. Thanks to everyone for your suggestions on the second set of FP. The change of BG status happened after 3 weeks from when I submitted my second FP.

I was asked to submit FP once early on in the process, which had expired after 1 year of submitting them and BG was still not completed. Hence I did it again 3 weeks back. Unsure if FP can be submitted without being asked for it.

FP is for criminality. You probably have criminality passed so you don't need to give FP. In very rare cases, criminality is still pending (possibly as they forgot to send FP request).
