update this morning: everything updated to completed, ceremony not started. No idea why things suddenly got moving again, no fingerprints requests or anything. Best of luck to all of you!

WOW, just got a phone call from CBSA Ottawa ask me why I'm requested ATIP notes from CBSA not IRCC!!! because they seeing increase amount of request recently.....

What did they say exactly? Did you make your request under the Privacy or Info act ($5)? Have you also applied for notes from IRCC, or only CBSA?

Not much, they just want to know is there anyone told me to order from CBSA or from internet etc.. Told him i am requested from IRCC and CSIS too, but no reply in 3+ months... LOL I request free one

Ah okay. I believe most people only request CBSA and CSIS after receiving IRCC notes and have any concerns about background processing, which may be revealed from these partner agencies. You may be backing up the system for others by requesting GCMS from CBSA... that's the job of IRCC to provide.

It took me 5 months to get my notes from IRCC, and only then did I request security notes from CBSA and IRCC to shed light on background processing.

CSIS normally send notes within 3 weeks, but I haven't receive anything from them over a month this time....

I got stuck at security for 6+ months too, did you do anything to try to see if anyone could help to look at our background check or you just wait?

Same here, Sep 2021 applicant. I ordered IRCC atip 3 weeks ago I don't think it would help either. Hoping miracle happen in 2-3 months.

I got stuck at security since April 10,2022..., and on CSIS Notes did not disclose anything!!!

Finally long wait of 8 months is over now.

Nov 25: Background verification status updated to Completed.

Nov 26: Language Skills, Physical presence and prohibitions updated to completed.

Now wait game starts for Citizenship Ceremony

FP are associated with criminality checks, so your criminality might be cleared, if you saw any status in regards to that in your gcms notes if you ever requested in between 7 months.

My criminality got cleared within 3-4 weeks time total after submitting FP on March 15, updated on April 8 as ceared by IRCC. It was my security which took time and got cleared on Nov 23
