Oh wow lucky youA quick update from me:
My parents had applied on 2nd Feb using old IRCC portal (GCKey login). I was worried after reading posts on this forum that the application might be stuck. However my parents received biometric on 3rd Feb (next day). They did their biometric on 14th. They had already done upfront medical before submitting the application. On 21st Feb, received passport request. So it was super quick.
I submitted only current 2021 T4Im going to submit application soon. Did you all submit notice of assessment/t4 for the last year 2021 or 2020 or last 3 years, if you applied in 2022? The website says 1 but the form mentions 3 years… I’m confused
Below is my mother's timeline fro Supervisa
VO New Delhi
17 Nov 2021 Applied via GC key
19 Nov 2021 Biometrics updated (did biometrics in 2021 August for tourist visa application applied in February 2021, no response for this application so decided to apply for Supervisa)
Since November we haven't received any communication from IRCC. We are not sure if we need to re-apply again or should we wait. I have seen here that many got PPrs (congrats to them) even if they applied in January or February 2022 but no news of 2021 Nov applications.
Please suggest what could be done (re-apply again or wait).
Thank you all and I pray for everyone's application and hope everyone could meet their parents soon in Canada as I know how hard it could be.
Thank you for your reply civiluv24.We are here still waiting, NDVO.
Original application: Mar2021(they withdrew)
Second: 25Oct2021(Still in progress)
Third: 14Feb2022(they cancelled)
those all who are getting quickly either they had some travel history or prior visa.
But again Delhi processing is worst. No clue why the delay, as you said some exceptions i see who got visa in just weeks even though first applications. Those are lucky ones.
We just need to wait and see when this game will finish
I got letter from CPC, ottawa that application dated 25oct2021 is in process, so cancelling.Thank you for your reply civiluv24.
My mother also has previous travel history in Canada. She stayed in Canada on Supervisa and Tourist visa in the past.
Did you apply on 14 February 2022 again and who cancelled this application? Was it Visa Office?
I haven't got but trend is 2-3 weeks max..Hello, does anyone know and have recently submitted passport for stamping to High commission in New Delhi? Roughly, how long they take? Thank you for any kind of feedback.
Yes you are right bro its all luck and fate at the moment. So for us the best bet is to wait for another one month or so before taking any other step.I got letter from CPC, ottawa that application dated 25oct2021 is in process, so cancelling.
Then you should have heard by now.. All luck and fate here.
Wish you hear soon. All the best..
yes, that helps. Thank you!I submitted only current 2021 T4
My parents had a couple of Canada transit visas. When travelling from US to home, they had transited via Toronto a couple of times. So they had a UCI number and some history with Canada IRCC
Not sure if that helped in speedy determination
There are many and including me who got request post upfront. once done medicals are valid for 12 months. So use webform and send to your processing office. I recommend send to IRCC canada as well as local visa office.Hello All,
I applied for my mother-in laws Supervisa application on the GCKey portal and after passing medical on the 21st of December, there was no update at all. So I reapplied through the IRCC portal again on the 14th of Feb. I got a medical request again for my mother in law's medical exam. I did let them know that she had the medical done along with the IME number. What should i do now? Does she have to redo the medical exam? I tried using webform to let them know and attached the older medical sheet too but no response from them at all. Any advice would be appreciated.
